Bro, a win is a win, So allow them enjoy their win however it came through! It's the game of football everyone should get lost with their sentiments.
I wouldn't say that it was undeserving as such.
United should never have let them back into the game, that much is true.
But United still had more shots on target, mor shots off target, more blocked shots, more possesion, more corners and more counterattacks.
Can't really say that the wrong team won.
We dominated them for 70 minutes until they got a lucky goal and a pen that wasn't given for Chelsea against City, which is why I'd also call that one lucky. We deserved that win, we just, like always, made it hard for ourselves.

We missed alot of chances too, to add on that, one of their goals was a deflection that seemed so uncertain to net in and the other was a controversial penalty, Bissaka intended to pull his arm away from the flying ball but unfortunately it found him. Not an expected performance from a team like United, but Coventry was in deed a worthy opponent in this competition.
Coventry fought well. Super well! Respect from Man Utd fan!

I'm a United fan, and I'm glad we went through... But I can't deny that Coventry were absolutely spectacular in this match, and very unlucky!
Isn't that the case with Liverpool and Arsenal for decades now? They are always favourites, almost always winning a cup or even 'quadruple' just so they can end the season empty handed or with 1 little cup. And always bottling the title with 1-2 points difference. They are the 'near success' teams.

I think that you are correct. It should have never went to penalties. Coventry’s forth goal didn’t appear to be offside and I think that VAR blew the call.
