My late father was a fighter pilot in WWII, Korea and Vietnam and retired as a colonel in the Air Force. Of course I was thinking of him while watching this! Abbie's kids are so cute, they look like they had a good time. I live in Florida, near MacDill Air Base, and they have a great "open house" as my dad calls it. He's a retired Air Force Master Sargent, and it was always fun listening to him talk about all the planes, and if he rode in any of them.

Oh my goodness little Jordyn Grace! I’ve been watching the show since she was a toddler and Jim Bob talked about her finding everyone’s shoes 😂 she is so grown up and such a beautiful young woman now! They all are! ❤
My husband was Coast Guard Aviation for over 20 yrs. We went to a lot of airshows all around the country that he worked. This was back when the Coast Guard still wore blue flightsuits and our girls just loved pointing out to people "that's my dad!" They were so proud of him. Great memories. As for that section of living room wall... Most people probably won't even notice it, but I know as the woman of the house, we tend to notice every little flaw. If it's still an eyesore to you... It looks like great spot for one of those pretty, tall floor mirrors. Something like what Carlin and Evan Stewart have near their front door. Just an idea. Lastly... Boy is Johanna fearless. Reminds me of Joy.
Fun fact, this air show moved to Osh Kosh in 1983, our family lived in Illinois at the time and went for a few years. BOY! has it grown! We only saw the Blue Angels and the Golden Knights when we went So happy to see there is so much more ❤❤ Your home is coming along beautifully ❤
