My RSX was leaking oil recently too. My shop did the top down diagnostic, so we replaced starting with the head gasket 1st , then the tensioner plate, finally the oil press sensor. It turned out to be the oil press sensor. It sounds like you have more oil leaking than me. Mine was very small.
Hopefully you meant valve cover gasket and not head gasket 😬 and yeah my leak slowed down after changing the valve cover gasket, it’s getting oil residue after pressure washing everything so I know I’m not out of the woods. My engine leaked 1/4 qt over night every night for 5 days. I have no idea how that much oil can piss out and not be super obvious.. im still chasing leaks
@@IntegraDIY You're right. Valve cover gasket. BTW, I'm curious, why did you choose the TL caliper instead of a S2K caliper? Fitment? Price? Availability?
Honda s2000’s came with standard brakes. The TL-S brakes are massive 4 piston Brembos.. makes the car look much more premium, and the stopping power is greatly improved. Brembos can be bought on eBay for $200-$400 on eBay, they even sell remanufactured ones for cheaper. The whole setup is around $400-$500 extremely nice upgrade
Definitely.. I’m guessing 60 offset with the 25mm spacers will bring it down to a 35 offset wheel equivalent. Lower offset wheels will definitely be much better, not having to use the 1” spacer. I’ve read 22 offset is a nice look for these cars with these brakes. The 1” spaces work perfect and the car drive fine, I don’t find them sketchy like others do (just throwing that out there). I’ll say this, putting on the wheel and not having it fit was scary af. Especially since I don’t have a private garage and need the car on all four wheels 🥹
I’ve promoted people products before, but I can’t do it without an agreement, such as a discount on the parts I show in the videos. That’ll be like Mr Beast advertising Samsung for free but on a much smaller scale. Nothing in it for me, I won’t put $700 in someone’s pocket for free. Hope this makes sense. And thanks 🙏
The downside about this is if your doing it like him where you drill out the stock bolt hole you can’t go back to stock brakes but DC5 creations BBK is machined to run the stock bolts so you can always go back to stock brakes
I thought about, but their kits are $500-$1000 depending on added options, before tax.. only benefit is the powder coating they have. I payed 280 for the calipers, Ceramic pads, bolts (very very special bolts weird size!) brake fluid and rotors.. $280 total. Then after that I needed the spacers so an added $60 If you are planning on doing it, save money, Drill ‘em bro, you’ll never go back to baby brake kit 😅
My bad man, Amazon. Absolutely POSITIVELY painful trying to find those bolts.. I call them “bitch bolts” because they’re a bitch to find. They’re huge and extremely unique size if you are a Honda head.. older Honda acuras don’t use that large size. Again it was painful searching all over the city at stores lol 😆 even bell housing bolts and T-bracket bolts are small compared.
Yea man it’s an M14 x 1.5 I found them from a store on Amazon who specialize in all types of fasteners. I wouldn’t even search what you have or locally.. you won’t find it. Special order only
I followed your tutorial on my 03 TL and it worked. Thanks for the key about the s2000 rotors, I also followed your ig.

Great video man! Very informative keep it up¡
Do u think a different set of wheels would fit without spacers? The type r are 60+ offset meaning ur set up rn is around 40

Do you have to bleed all brakes if you only replace the front?
