I took off all notifications, apps, wake functions, etc...and after my very first full charge, my watch is still only at 41% after more than 24 hrs 😊 I put it on at 7am yesterday morning, and it is now 8:34pm 😁👍 I was dreading the crappy battery life, but there are ways around it!
Those are some very good points. Also I would add that you should check your Apple Watch notifications as they can drain the watch battery. Reduce to only want you think is needed. This is accessed on the iphone watch app. Third party apps installed on your iphone that may not be needed on the apple watch, keep on eye on those as well. I try to keep mine down as to what gets installed onto the watch. In the iphone watch app, under General there is Automatic App Install, I turn this off so that I select which apps i want installed onto the watch.
One question please! I wanna buy GPS model of 40mm series 4 or 38mm of 3. And i am not running)) i just go to indoor pool for swimming ,want it to count the distance i swam. Also i don't want to use GPS in general (is it using personal gps when walking and counting steps ?) ... i mean if i wont use gps... do not use music etc... not much interested in all that stuff.... in that scenario HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?? thanks
Very good advice. The last tips may absolutely helpful. You have to enabled bluetooth on an iphone so apple watch still connected. Apple recommend dont disable bluetooth, to save battery life.
