I can't believe you've only recently come to know about ATEEZ and you've already got the meaning of this performance. This was an ethereal and majestic stage!
And it was ranked last in that week because other groups and fans couldn’t relate to it. The stage was a a masterpiece and didn’t need a brain to understand what’s going on. The vocals were fire
@@anchal2098 I agree. It may not be understood by non-ateez fans but omit the story for a moment and this stage is still musically the best. Opera and kpop...like how? I knew ateez can perform all genres but this, wow, this stage really deserves an award of its own. Choregraphed battle? Who does that? ATEEZ THAT'S WHO.

This stage was EPIC. I haven't seen idols doing this kind of performance. I swear i felt like watching a movie or even reading a book.
Sadly this performance is a little underrated out there. The Wonderland one is more known i think.
Anyway I've been watching kpop for more than 10 years and I can tell, there's very few performances that took my breath away, and this is one of them.

This performance gives me goosebumps every time. It means a lot to Atiny because Ateez had really worked out how to score high in the competition and aced the two previous weeks, but they really threw it out the window to give fans the lore and emotion heavy performance they they wanted when they had the chance, knowing that they likely wouldn't get as many votes. The way that Jongho threw the crown in the end was such a huge moment. Basically 'we don't need to win, we're already kings'.
I also love that they invited La Poem and made them a real feature. One of the things I really love about Ateez is that they always give attention to artists that they admire and enjoy. From the collabs that they've done and the kid dancers that featured in both their Immortal Songs cover of Psy's Right Now and their The Real stage (the Kingdom finale performance the week after this one!) you can tell that they don't care about how big a name someone has, they just admire talent.
This was the No Limit round, so some of the groups performed with guests. Ateez chose to perform with La Poem. In some of the fancams for this performance (I'm pretty sure Wooyoung's and Yunho's), you can see Ateez's reaction to when La Poem began singing. They were so impressed. Afterward, they thanked them and expressed their awe, but La Poem complimented them back. Sadly this performance was ranked last by the industry panel and other performers for this round.
Is truly sad right. Becoz that stage so amazing 🔥

yes this is true!!! He comments on vocals, producing, about the MVs and appreciate little things that atinys wanted to hear like bgms and backing vocals (sorry for my eng)

Ateez and La Poem both participated in a Prestigious Korean singing show "Immortal Songs". Ateez also won "3" times.They are the youngest to win and During the show they were impressed by La poem. This video is from a survival show named Kingdom where the different idol groups compete for the title. This was the "No limit " round where they could bring anyone with them to the show for that round. Since Ateez has no background or senior groups to tag them along they politely asked La poem who is one of their co participants from another singing show to help them. La poem genuinely interested in the boys and Collaborated with them for this round. 🐣❤️. All i love about Ateez is the path they have chosen to get here. The process of getting recognition for their talent is too slow yet steady. Besides being from unknown to now ppl interesting to collab for their talent it is a very long path that they 8 walked together despite the hardships. I hope they be known by more ppl like you who truly recognize them for their works and keep on supporting the kids in future . Let the fandom grow along with the growth of the kids 🐣❤️

I remember when this episode first aired and when i first watched the performance, it was around 4 or 5am for me and i just remember bawling my eyes out, more so when ateez did that final dance break with La Poem’s vocals in the back and Jongho’s belting, it was a very powerful performance
Seeing you react to them makes me SO HAPPY!!!! literally i love when people appreciate their talent and the efforts they put into EVERY SINGLE THING that they do. Also, shout out to you for knowing La Poem and paying so much attention to the performance itself. ATEEZ has an amazing storyline and this was kind of a conclusion to some part of it? They wanted to do this for the fans (Atinys), to tie their story and gives us some "answers". Anyway, thank you again for reacting and showing love to them! Atinys are really proud of ATEEZ.

Yes they chose to invite LAPOEM , and yes grps dont usually go for classic music but ateez r so unique and clever man theyre one of a kind

for your info, this performance is for Kingdom competition.. this is third round.. first & second round Ateez rank first, so for third round they just want to perform the song Atiny request them. so this is it ,Atiny request answer.. but unfortunately they rank last for this performance because this stage only Atiny understand behind the story of this song..
They actually invited Lapoem for this stage. It stays in the spirit of their whole Kingdom participation since each Ateez stage from there was mixed with a well known piece of classic music. Just like Wonderland had symphony of the new world from Dvorak. This was Beethoven Ode to joy. The exception being the collabs and their final song The real (you might have heard the beat from the end of fireworks tho).
So happy you enjoy La Poem too. I think they are phenomenal. I was so happy to get to know La Poem through Ateez.

I love how you got everything about this performance!! Yes the white masked people are bad, & we used to think the black men (halateez) were bad but here we learned they’re actually good & they’re helping Ateez fight!! Their storyline is amazing.
A lot of Ateez seniors like La Poem, Kim Jong Kook, and rain collaborated with Ateez.... and they like ateez...

Ateez never fails to surprise. They're really great. Each & every performance of Ateez in kingdom were amazing. Also their performances in immortal songs are beautiful.
This is my favorite reaction video from any reactor, to any group I’ve seen thus far. Your reactions are so genuine and the part when La Poem came out made this video even 10x more better than it already was! I love ATEEZ but I loved how excited and happy you were when La Poem came out! This performance was my personal favorite from kingdom. It makes me cry every time I watch it! nope you're not making it up. you're actually quite right lol. the masked men were the "bad guys" and halateez (that's what we call ateez when they're in black with fedora hat in reference to their outfits in the hala hala mv) are another version of ateez's selves. halateez protects ateez from the masked men. the storyline is quite complicated but it's surprising how you've already caught bits of it even by just watching a couple of their mvs.
also can you believe this amazing performance ranked last out of 6 groups? lol it doesnt make any sense.
