They were breathing SO HARD at the end I don’t even know how they continued standing. After not getting sleep for a couple of days and staying up practicing THIS is what they perform with. Like. Wow. They have the ability to exert themselves past their breaking points and end up building up strength to be able to perform so well. I am always so proud of Ateez and Mingi (the eigth member who was on hiatus), he was resting during all of this and I feel like he and any other member could always rest well knowing that the others would make people proud, that their title of Ateez is forever held in a positive light.

Kingdom was a tv show that brought together 6 K-pop groups. They each made different performances and in the end, the group with more votes trough out the show won. At this time, one of the members was inna hiatus due to anxiety.
A bit of a background for you : Ateez's theme revolves on Pirates, with their debut single being 'Pirate Kings'. So you are expected to see a lot of allusions to Pirates and its universe (Kraken, Hourglass, Map, Handheld telescope, etc) in the MVs or stage setups. You can even see a flying pirate ship in the song, Illusion's MV!
Oh man, I really liked this. I love the story telling they do with their performances. They're singing is amazing too. I look forward to your album review and future ATEEZ Live Streams. I want to know more too. You're one of the best teachers.

The animal is a Kraken, a mythical under sea beast. You can recognize San and Jongho well now! From the Wonderland definitely shows how talented Ateez is. They can sing and rap like beasts while executing extremely difficult choreo. Just re-watch the EDM piece at a lower speed to see what I mean. How anyone can sing while dancing like that is beyond me. If you liked this, you will certainly enjoy their 2019 MAMA performance. It's a live mash-up of Wonderland with a few other songs. I'm impressed you caught that one member was missing. Mingi took a break due to anxiety. For the next comeback, Jongho won't be dancing as he's healing from knee injury.

Yaaaaaasssssssss!!!!! Kingdom is a competition show where they had different missions to do every episode. First was WAVE (overture)- they remade their happy carefree song wave into a smaller more epic "survivor" theme.(I think it was that they survived the kraken destroying their ship and washing them onto land) also note that Ateez has a storyline that's out of order in some cases. They travel back and forth in time (and dimension/dreamworld I think). So first video was wave but it shows them having to figure out how to survive and find their hourglass to turn back time. Second was this one. Wonderland.(I think the mission was to add classical music to their instrumental). They were given a note from themselves in "the new world" that they had to fight off the kraken and win. Then in the next video would be a cover song "rhythm ta" by IKON. (Here their mission was to trade songs with another group and perform it their way) in ateez's rendition of the song, they used to movie MONEY HEIST as a theme to show how they would steel back their stolen hour glass (idk who in fact took it from them originally). Next was teaming up with 2 other groups to make a rap group, a performance group and a vocal group with powerful stages for each. They called their newly established 3 group subgroups "mayfly". "Paint" rap line "Growl" performance (my favorite thing ever!!!!) "Poem" vocals The next video was an epic remake of their MOST PRESCIOUS AND LOVED SONG BY ATINY, "answer" and they added a opera group singing the song ode to joy at the end. In the song they basically decided "we are not doing this to win"(even though they were winning) they show JONGHO walking up a set of stairs with a crown and just throwing it away because it's about staying who we are. We will not change we will always stay true. Then in the end it's "the Real". Their last big performance. A song that if you read lyrics first it literally tells you the story of how our boys feel. Always stay humble. Even if you are bigger than someone else in status, always respectfully bow. It's cool to be kind basically.
The second mission was to decide on a song that they can show to the world and new viewers so they decided on Wonderland. The classical aspect mix was decided after Eden suggested to Hongjoong that they could do a Classical mix with their song.

yess the guy before jongho was san! good job! lol. they're only 7 here because the 8th member, mingi, (you may remember him as the deep voiced rapper in wonderland) was in hiatus for a couple of months due to his anxiety. but now he's back and better than ever. btw atinys, for those of you who are recommending etini's helpful guide video, i just looked it up and it seems like they closed down their channel :( im kinda sad because their video is really a helpful one for new atinys. hope y'all can recommend an equally good guide

People may hated this performance but me,nope My no.1 Kingdom performance ever periodt They said Ateez used big budget,but the only thing that take most of the budget are the kraken arm,rifles and (probably Yunho sword) other that,the other are basics props,they could make a cheap props looks like it expensives😏we stan Talents and Creativity

Just a small correction. It wasn't in the mission to mix it with a classical song. Eden suggested that to Hongjoong, and Hongjoong picked the piece.
