    Great video once again! My favourite gear in a rig has to be my fender standard strat into my digitech polara, ds2 and big muff into a mic'ed up pignose amp. The ds2 is very underrated imo and the pignose amp has a great break up sound in it. I've absolutely been loving these recent videos and it's also been great to see a bit more of the people who make them. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see what's in store for us next!

    Hey! I recently found this channel when looking for JC 40 demos! I have one coming now thank you for your cool demos, they definitely helped me pull the trigger and get one! :) I was gonna ask about how the stereo works, i was going to buy a stereo delay to put at the end of my chain (the rest are mono), and use the reverb in the amp, would this be okay? Or do you recommend a stereo reverb after the stereo delay? Or should I just stick the stereo delay in the loop and leave the rest going into the front? Also how do the speakers work? Do they both play the guitar until I engage chorus? Sorry for the annoying questions 😃
    Thank you for your help :) I love all your cool effects on your videos as well!

      I had a JC 90 back in the day and it hissed a lot. I traded it for a MusicMan tube amp, which strangely, was quieter. I’m always amazed at how nice the JC 40 sounds! The chorus on the old school ones sounds 100% the same to my ears.

    How do you feel about the Fender Player Jazzmaster? (you must like it because you own one) I am unsure about it because I see a lot of dislike for it online for not really being a Jazzmaster; both the iconic soapbar pickups and the unique switching system are completely absent. In order to get a Mexican made JM with the traditional setup of a JM you have to shell out an additional 200-400 bucks for a Vintera, which I personally find a bit ridiculous, but I have not tried a Player series JM myself. I have tried the Vintera but was not particularly impressed for the pricepoint it is at (heavily lacquered necks also just feel too sticky to me). I've been interested in JMs ever since I saw Fender's video with Kevin Shields where he stated that the unique JM/ Jaguar vibrato system allowed him to get those wavy vibrato swells in his playing.

    • @yungscamlikely
      @yungscamlikely 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you go to reverb or the Chicago music exchange website you can pre-order their exclusive jazzmaster for 800 it has a 4 way switch instead of the traditional 3. It doesn't come installed with the rhythm circuit but the body is pre routed for it, and the fourth position turns it into a humbucker while still having those classic jazzmaster pickups

    • @yungscamlikely
      @yungscamlikely 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      But since its a pre order you won't get it till late September or early october

      I have the JM Player Classic 60s Lacquer. It has has the switching system and soapbar pickups (though they are actually P90s). They can be had used for 700-800 (at least the last time I checked. Reverb.com sellers are starting to get very greedy)

    Digging the boss fender delays. Thanks for showing your Roland JC settings. As I suspected *points to headphones* running eq 12 o'clock except on the reverb. Lol.
    I think the boss ce2 pedal that's worth so much money because it's replicating replicating (sine wave delay joke) that chorus in the JC...could be wrong.
    The Walrus cuts through very nicely and I'm a big bd2 guy as I know. Did you try using the bd as a booster into the Walrus Fuzz? Stack those gains too bro! Lol.
    I didn't notice is the Mtg tremelo is that harmonic & stereo outs?

    I'd be interested to know what you think of the Player Mustang through your JC-40, i've wanted a JC-40 but i worry that with my traditional style Jaguar, single coils and 1Meg pots and all, it would be too bright perhaps? i love the sound of solid state amps, the JCs especially so, but i don't want to end up with a sound i can't stand to listen to

What is so entirely different about a giga delay pedal such as the DD-20 in comparison to the delay functions on both the DD-7 and PS-2?

    Hi! I bought the KC jaguar recently and I'm a bit worried about something... I find the tremolo arm to be extremely low, specially compared to other jaguars/jazzmasters. It is a bit annoying because It gets really difficult to use while strumming, since there is no space between my guitar pick and the strings to properly strum and use the tremolo. Has anyone else noted this? Can it be solved?
