Dave would KO Carl in the first round for two reasons: Just Get Better and The 12 Days of Gerkmas. Remind him if those levels and all the suppressed rage will be unleashed in the ring.
Background story to the shout-out. Edward is my six year old son and a big DGR fan (as am I) and I gambled my way up to 150k channel points for this dedication. It took me so long, getting so near on two occasions and then falling back to c.70k. When I finally hit 130k channel points, I changed my username to EdwardMitson in preparation for the shout-out. He's absolutely thrilled with it!

@@majora_90 on Twitch you accumulate channel points for watching, which can then be spent on various perks - the perks are at the discretion of the streamer. So, DGR has a perk that by redeeming 150,000 channel points you can appear in the credits of the TH-cam video, which is created from edited stream content.
Additionally, during a stream, a streamer may do "predictions" where you gamble your channel points on an all or nothing basis. So, DGR may say "will I one-shot this level" yes/no. If he does one-shot the level, the people who said 'no' would lose their staked points and they would get redistributed to those who voted 'yes' pro-rated for their own stake.
I feel like a boxing match between you and Carl would end up 1 of 2 ways. You either dance around the ring the whole time not wanting to actually punch each other or you go for the punches and whiff and both of you just start cracking up at each other and this ridiculous situation lol

If the match happens in a boxing ring I think Carl's experience with Carl boxes will give him a tactical advantage.
And Dave's experiences with finding glory in pitholes would... Get him ejected from the ring somehow.

Daves Twitch chat has to be the most coordinated chat in the history of chats. The fact that they managed to set up a three way tie is remarkable!
They don't have to coordinate. You can vote multiple times with channel points so it only takes a couple of people to rig votes and polls every stream.
@@Syranovæ really? I'd of thought that wouldn't be allowed without multiple accounts? But with how many people watch Dave's streams it would be difficult to get a three way tie with 47 votes each without someone not in on the rigging messing it up?
Forcing ties is a meme in DGR twitch chat. It doesn't work out perfectly very often, but it's very amusing when it does.
@@DJDroz-tz4qc When the vote gets too far away from the tie they just go vote again. And then later again. He only charges 10 channel points per vote and there's no limit to how many times or how often one person can vote. One person with a few thousand channel points (which isn't hard to get) can rig the vote all by themselves.

So presently Carl has a (marginally slight) edge going into the ring

I can see how troll levels can screw with someones run, but Nintendo could easily fix this problem by having a tag for troll levels and omit them from certain parts of the game.

In a physical-combative sport such as boxing, this is not necessarily a bad thing. "Weight classes" exist for a reason; more body mass makes for more power to put behind a strike.
I study shaolin kempo, and at the local dojo, back before COVID there used to be a woman who had a black belt. Far beyond me in skill level... but she was tiny. 5 feet at most, probably less, and couldn't have weighed 120 pounds. Whereas I stand 6'1" and, while not overweight, am not a skinny waif either. She had speed and technique but I had the raw size and power to overbear her, and we made for surprisingly equal sparring partners.
Size does matter in a fight. (Or a fighting-adjacent sport.) It matters a lot.
Force = MASS times acceleration.
All things being equal, more mass will hit harder. It can be overcome but requires different strategies.
Dave vs Carl? It would be a nerdy slapping fight.
Larl would win the boxing match because he'd remind you that every hole is a chance for glory and you'd take a dive....down the hole to see.

Fixing glitches can be really hard on level making games, likely fixing one could cause 10 more
