I honestly think that rigging bike pedals with a shifter and sprockets connected through a gearless power transmission into a universal joint on a prop shaft would give you a lot more power for longer. These are the specs on this build: Motor: Turnigy 80-100 (rewound) Controller: Kelly Controller - 50 V - at full trottle 50A (on battery side) - 2.5 kW - diameter 70mm - 1 hour battery 2.5kWh (= A LOT OF BATTERIES) This is another build with a smaller motor and less batteries; as you can see the boat is not fast or suitable for high currents and winds. th-cam.com/video/kbH3qlACsoI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=NASATS%C3%A1ngT%E1%BA%A1o For a short duration the idea seems fun, but it would be short lived; and in my opinion it's not at all suitable for fishing or exploring a water body of any considerable size.

Stater, scavenge more rotational loss, smaller nozzle, shouldn't really be able to hold that, better inlet than the last guy anyway. Take my hat off to people who try this, it's magician's work making these as efficient as possible
