What seems like a little know fact these days is that Travis Pastrana was a great motocross rider. Unfortunately injury's cut his career way to short. He was as good as anyone and seemed to be the next big thing once he moved to the premiere class. However, He would never win another race after Southwick in 2001. The southwick track layout I first road when I started racing. It was really gnarly on a 60 and 80cc come 2nd moto

The racing was better on 2strokes and the tracks were brutal. Not like it is today on 4strokes, the only thing brutal is the cost of racing on 4strokes.

Langston was an animal for riding with the injury that season but if you take away that 1 KO at dilla then pastrana wins this title
