Personally I think Kawasaki ruined James’s career by not having the 4 stroke ready for him to race! That’s what most people don’t understand is that they didn’t have a choice but to race the 2 stroke which was clearly a disadvantage and anyone that races will tell you that no matter what you are running you hate to lose and Bubba had to do things on the 250 and it wasn’t able to handle it and crash’s were the end result!! And we all got screwed because if James had the 4 stroke his career would’ve lasted longer and I believe he would’ve done things on that bike we would’ve still been shaking our heads!!!!🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Well he got a 4 stroke in 2006 and 2007 against ricky in outdoor motocross and that resulted in another outdoor title for ricky and an undefeated overall partial season for ricky. Lets not pretend james would have done anything differently with a 4 stroke this year. Ricky went undefeated on a 2 stroke against a field of 4 strokes so it isnt a valid excuse.
James was on the 450 the next year. Usually, after the facts have played out, hindsight is 20-20. How good is your hindsight? The history is there, if you want to look it up. :) James and Tortelli were the toughest for RC outdoors though. But RC never lost a outdoor championship.
RC was the fucking man always will be he could just turn it up whenever he wanted and nobody could compete .dawn I wish 2 strokes was the top class still it's just not as entertaining and they don't have the sound or ride with the same momentum
Tomac in 2015 started off beating everyone by 1 and a half minutes a moto for the first 5 motos until he did his shoulders and then switched to kawi after recovering. I think his career would have more wins if he didn't switch bikes during an injury. He never got back to the same 2015 from. His 22 and 23 season was the closest to that speed. If they had a age limit on 250s jett wouldn't be racing 30yo's who think about health a bit more than a 20yo. Forkner was faster than sexton both titles sexton got because forkner crashes out and macadoo has been doing the same thing without the extra speed forkner has. Forkner could still be beating sexton if they didn't keep them until they get a title. A 250 title doesn't mean they will do good on the big bikes. Jett has been better on the 450 forkner could have been the same way. After the second year in a row when forkner crashed out and sexton got his second title they both should have moved up. Got 17yo kids racing against veteran 30yos and nicoletti is 29 in the 250 class but they wouldn't let JS17 ride the new triumph 250 in SX their first year.
James earned a lot of credit. No doubt he was top 3 in the world. Maybe 2nd. Who earned more credit in the RC/James era at the nationals? James is the 2nd and last rider to this day to win all 24 motos for a sweep in a big bike national title,----after RC retired of course. RC was the man and still is in the record books. IMO, the only way people could give James too much credit is if they called him the GOAT. But if racing talent was only looked at, he may have been the GOAT. Not sure.
I still believe that James Stewart was much better than RC. If he could of had his health throughout every season and stopped crashing JS would have won far more than RC
Not sure how they ever thought that a 450cc bike was fair to race against a 250cc bike. They did it because the 250cc 4 stroke could not even compete with the 250 2 stroke. We are going backwards with this sport. The president of the AMA is an idiot and screwed this sport up bad. Nobody but g bikes, racing and no fans and resolving it is all common sense. Go back to 2 strokes.
@@joebuss8835 I will help you relax a bit. Those electric bikes will not ever make it. I’m telling you it’s dead already from the start. The bikes can’t go any faster and a human control the bike first of all. How would they consider what voltage to set them at to compete and be fair. Well they did it 4 strokes by allowing much larger motors but anyway it also gets away from the engine with is the heart of the sport. To many riders are already laughing at these things so it’s an embarrassment to the sport. They are also expensive. All that and there’s just now way it will happen. Look at the 2 strikes for sale now going for over double what they cost new and that’s for a bike over 15 years old. The motocrossers are showing that they want the 2 strokes. The 4 strokes are smoother but once again you’re getting away from the skill and art of a motocross racer. I thought the EPA was behind this but they weren’t. It was actually Honda that pushed for a competitive 4 stroke as well as Yamaha. Not sure WTH they were thinking but bike sales are half of what they were 20 years ago. Honda made the best bike of all time which was the CR250 yet they killed that. I will never understand why. It’s not about money because they lost in sales big time and finally KTM came in with the best 4 stroke and started winning. This is also an issue with the AMA. These are just a bunch of drunks that have probably never ridden a bike
@@joebuss8835 No worries! There is no chance they will take off. Not in our lifetime. To many are against it and it would cost the dealers multi millions. The American people just spoke up about electric cars. What they did was bought more SUV’s and trucks so now Chevy and Ford stopped production of all electric car facilities that they were building loosing millions. They see the people do not want electric cars. The government also said we had to have a certain amount of EV vehicles on the road by 2030 and that will be changed by the next election. People don’t want them. No one is going to go and watch a motocross race with silent bikes. The sound is just as important as everything else in the sport

I used to ride even if my back/spine was broken.
If you love it, you will overcome anything 😅💪🏼
LOL
RC was so small it like having extra 50cc😂
Bring back two strokes!!!!
If James was on a 450, the outcome would have been James being spotlight rider. RC would have struggled to keep up with James.
Js was underpowered and overworked just like most of us blue collar guys
Keep coping
I hope they have kids and they race
I have a friend that calls his little muscular dog a cylinder Ricky Carmichael is/was a cylinder. The term refers to hydraulics.
James was on a two smoker. He had to ride way harder I keep that pace.
Got 17yo kids racing against veteran 30yos and nicoletti is 29 in the 250 class but they wouldn't let JS17 ride the new triumph 250 in SX their first year.
was carmichael fault you cut off a 125 2 stroke that just reach powerband on a downhill jump stewart was jumping entire race

No way James Stewart was the fastest hands down but rc was unbeatable and won all the time against him
i nerver like Carmichael, great rider, but big ego. not a cool guy....
People give bubba to much credit Ricky Carmichael was the man
James earned a lot of credit. Not sure.
@EarthSurferUSA I agree he was a generational talent that met an unstoppable force. RC just got it done man, he was dependable day in day out.
Rc 🐐
I still believe that James Stewart was much better than RC. If he could of had his health throughout every season and stopped crashing JS would have won far more than RC
And if your aunt had balls she’d be your uncle
Woo-Duh, Koo-Duh, Shoo-Duh, Nope !!
Stewart fan coping.
I'm waiting for a field of those stupid ass electric bikes. ..I'll never goto or watch mx/sx again if that happens
Bubba was on a moped compared to them 4s!
LOL
How did RC have a perfect season on a 250 if there is such a difference? Bike is maybe 10%.
That 250 was a rocketship. He pulled holeshots on that thing. Face it,RC was better outdoors and in much better shape. Even when JS got on a 450,RC still beat him.
Theres trained and untrained, dont get jacked get dangerous.
holy fuck a field from fake engines and js 259 only with real engine!!
Omg These are 4 strokes! Your u can instantly tell by how shitty the racing is
Fake motorcycle sounds and cheers ??? L A M E
4 strokes SUCK.
LOL
If they push e bikes like they did four strokes, I’ll take up video games.
100%
Yeh Ricky Charmichael won the 250cc class on a freaking 450cc 4 stroke total BS how could a 250cc ever compete with a 450 ?
RC was on a 250 and had a perfect season. RC still beat bubbs when kawi gave him a 450. The difference wasn’t that much back then, the weight and handling of that kx250 was perfect.
Cope harder
