As a C’s fan I’ve been very critical and sometimes overly critical of Tatum. But I think the way he responded tonight in a must win game just erases all the negative comments. He showed up and showed out. Love Brown he was great throughout this whole series and deserved MVP. So glad to sit and watch the boys win another title 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah he copied KG and Draymond in a single interview. He gonna go copy a Kobe photo next. I like Brad Stephens and the Celtics org tho so congrats on that
I hate the Celtics since I am a Laker fan. But congrats to the Celtics. You guys have been knocking on the door for many years and they have been the best team all year. Brad Stevens is the best GM in the game.
From the original Lakers hater And i will die a Lakers hater number 18 Boston Celtics probably make you sick to your stomach that Boston Celtics won this championship

What a glorious finish for such a wonderful team, excellent coaching, and expert management. Thanks to Brad Stevens for getting the right guys for the best team chemistry we've seen in a long time..
For all the Lakers fans who I’m sure are gonna post these comments and make slide remarks, you technically have 12 championships five of your 17 were in Minnesota. That’s a fact.
@@stephanc2359Real Celtics fans don't care about the FMVP. This is their 18th banner, the most in NBA history. Only haters like you care more about FMVP rather than historical championships.

One more 🏆 than the Lakers. Six more than the *Los* *Angeles* Lakers. Tatum will eventually get a Finals MVP like Kobe and Steph did. No worries. Happiest for Al Horford.
Respect to the Celts, and Boston Bean Town. Tatum and Brown are good, but collectively as a whole team, they’re great. Kinda like the Warriors…#StrengthInNumbers 🏆
The Celtics offense was machine-like. Consider games 1 to 3: 107 points, 105 points, 106 points. Last night: 106 points. Dallas scored under 100 in all 4 losses (89, 98, 99, 88). Average win was Celtics 106, Mavs 94. In the loss the Celtics scored 27% less than average and gave up 27% more than average (an aberration).
“We did it” ain’t quite as memorable as “Anything is possible” but so stoked for the resilience of these dudes! Exceptional perseverance in the midst of adversity.
I get what you saying. Yet him letting that out was after yyyyeeeaaaaaarrrrrrssss of frustration. Almost as if it finally dawned on him that they finally won!!!
Doubted and hated on us even when we were up 3-0. Stephen A, Barkley, Skip, Joell Embiid, Jimmy, Lamar, Nick Wright, Broussard. We Didddd Itttttttt!!!!!
Brown and Tatum are the best players in the league now you guys deserve this championship! No debate! They score, defend, and playmake! Conversation over with!
It’s crazy, cuz whenever ppl talk about this season in regards to Tatum it’s always game 1 n 2, they don’t talk too much about the stellar performance he had in game 5, or even in game 3
Celtics not only dismantled the Mavs, but they dismantled the haters and the "expert analysts" as well 😂 Don't forget something like 89% of all bets placed prior to game 1 were for Dallas to win the series. One of the most statistically dominant teams in NBA history and people thought they were underdogs 😂
Jaylen and Jayson grew up together, they’ve spent their entire pro careers on the parquet and under those banners, and this year they really figured out what Red Auerbach really built. More than anything, the Celtics are a brotherhood, a representation of how strong people can be TOGETHER, when people love each other.
The Finals MVP is Mazzulla. He inherited a team that had just lost in the Finals and under some of the most negative set of circumstances I’ve ever seen. On top of that, there’s an aura about Udoka being this incredible coach (which he is), the players loved and respected him, therefore Mazzulla was stepping into a huge shadow. Great job, coach
congrats to the celtics for winning a championship, and for jaylen brown for solidifying he's place as the best player in that celtics team, people need to put some respect on this guys name, im so glad that the celtics did not trade him when there was talk about the durant trade a few years ago.
I respect your opinion but come on now, this finals MVP doesn't make him the best player on the Celtics. This finals MVP could have easily gone to even Jrue Holiday if we are being honest. They played well as a team, and I don't think basketball fans would argue if JB, JT or Jrue got the finals MVP. That being said, JT still is the best player on the team.
LESPN will not proudly admit it, but Joe Mazzula during these playoffs was every bit the mastermind for the Celtics that the media painted Doc Rivers to be. Mazzula made the right adjustments all playoffs long and was always one coaching step ahead of the competition.
Tatum's numbers (pts, rebs, assists, PER, defensive rating) was at least as good as Brown's or better. JB shot better from the field. Overall they both deserved it. This was a very close call to give JB MVP.
Yeah I feel like JB played a more puppet esque role minus the playmaking but more scoring. So if a co mvp was given I honestly could not be mad. Either of them could have one it. Jrue numbers wise isn’t as good as them but easily he is the best perimeter defender in the league. Honestly is the first person I seen LOCK kyrie Irving up in 1v1 positions kyrie shot 31% against him. Luka shot 35% against 1v1 situations against jrue. He is an ELITE PERIMITER DEFENDER.
@@SShaBazzz right. yes .... but Tatum was also guarded by their best defender on the other side. But I'm ok with JB earning it. That's a good problem to have: who to give it to!
