he impressed me here
Exactly bro his post game conferences he is straight face and militant darn near. But it was great to see him smile.
He always calls a time out in a timely manner... That is someone who is feeling the game as opposed to only watching it. I never thought much of him, but the past two seasons I've grown to appreciate his articulate nature, grasp of the details, in this interview he shows what the Celtics saw.

Man I love how this guy coaches. Adding up the points that the Mavs have scored and calculating the percentage of points coming from the rest of the team compared to kyrie/Luka and then basically doing a risk assessment to determine that it is actually worth it to guard them in a 1v1 is so good. That’s the type of assessment I want to see from a coach. There’s a LOT of thought and analysis in getting to this point. He’s the real deal right now

Kendrick Perkins called this highly intelligent man an idiot on national tv just for clicks. Joe was in a difficult position last year becoming an unexpected head coach last second. He wasn’t given a fair shake just like this Celtics team wasn’t given a fair shake after losing in big moments before. His first full year as the head coach with a full off season he led our team to a championship as the youngest coach to win since Bill Russell. Thank you Joe!

The Celtics are a model organization. So many teams make their coaches the scapegoat when the team loses. Kudos to the ownership for sticking with Joe and trusting Brad Stevens to do his job!
