It definite is fun to see everyone’s responses. But there also is the similarities of goat ownership. We all love our goats and they teach us a lot!
Anyways, thanks again for doing this with me 😊

First off I need that fridge!! Not only is it adorable but I can get all my goat meds out of the butter compartment of my fridge. Second you have some really nice looking mini nubians! And third is I always call my grandma first. She has been raising goats since my dad was a kid and has so much knowledge. I did not call her 1 time cause I didnt want her to think I didnt know what I was doing. Not the case obviously but always take advice from the veteran goat owners. They know so much! Your goat binder has even taught my grandma some new good tips. A must have in our family! 💗🤗

I’m definitely happy with the fridge!
Thank you about the mini Nubians 😊
What a blessing to have a grandma with so many years of goat ownership! That’s amazing and so helpful! But I’m glad the goat binder has been helpful. That makes my day knowing that 😊
I just told my daughter this morning at breakfast how lucky she is to have two sets off grandparents to see on a regular basis. I didn’t know any of my grandparents. You are just so blessed to have her in your life and then there’s the bonus of her goat knowledge!

Delci 💕 I found you a few months ago when we decided to get goats again for our family. I have faithfully watched so many of your videos to learn the best way to care for my new mama and kids. I’ve applied all your advice and have seen our 3 goats become healthy and gorgeous after a rough last owner. We are in love ❤️ I can’t get enough of your beautifully done videos! My biggest thought... every video I watch, I keep thinking “How do you not have thousands upon thousands of more subscribers!?” You deserve the attention of every goat lover! My two boys, Josiah and Jordan, 5 & 3 (and my baby) are all engaged with every video you have for us. Your children are blessed to have a mother like you. You have a beautiful voice, demeanor, smile, and it’s a pleasure to learn from a humble, joyful mama, Delci 💜 I’ve been wanting to comment for a while but didn’t want to sound too corny lol. I want to send some pictures of our goats once I can get them to hold still for a picture ;) 💕💕💕

I’m so blessed that you took the time to comment! And truly, don’t feel corny because it just made my night!
I’m so happy that your goats are happy and healthy! And that you all are enjoying them!
Tell your Josiah and Jordan hello from my Josiah and Hadassah! ♥️
And I would love to see pictures! And goats never hold still for a good picture 😆 lol
      Have a great day! 😊

I just...can’t help it... it’s more than likely I’ll make a fool of myself in this life...so why not very publicly???
I was talking to a friend who lives about 12 hours away who said she’d do videos with me if she were closer but for now I don’t have anyone to do my videos with like a lot of channels have older kids and husbands who join in and at this point I have just me....so I have to improvise 😜

@@DelcifromALifeofHeritage Thanks for responding I actually didn’t think Id get one lol most people don’t respond so thank you…i really enjoy your videos and you have such a humble beautiful personality its a blessing watching you especially your church barefoot video lol so funny I do the same but i kick them on in church to dance and worship lol I used to lead worship in my house services. On another naote I also purchased your binder that should be coming in soon im sure I haven’t gotten shopping info yet…I also have to respond to your welcome email and tell you about myself besides how I binge watch your channel, 🙂 but Im in the process of buying my farm which the waiting season is the hardest but its coming, God is making my first time owning a home perfect for me and my farm so i dont mind the waiting season..but in that once im set up if your willing to ship im willing to buy 😁…. From what I gather is rather expensive to ship but for having a trustworthy seller that I see for myself the condition and the well-maintained Goats you have in your herd and their beauty it would be well worth the expense..I would love to own one of your girls that looks identical to the black and brown one sitting on your lap at the end of this video… If you ever see you get to the place of being able to ship please get with me…save my information 🙂….Thank you so much for taking time out of your business schedule to get back with me, you have been such an empowering blessing to me and getting me prepared for my own goats…id also will fill you in on my email of how your welcome email to me gave me a prophetic conformation I really needed from God. Thank you for being a faithful obedient servant to God…God Bless You, and May He Bless The Works Of Your Hands

Hidden oaks says goats pretty much take care of themselves and not much maintenance 🤔 but your videos clearly shows and states otherwise hummmm 🤔….from what I gather goats are high maintenance animals with quit a bit of maintenance and you have to stay on your toes at all times daily to watch them for health problems because over night you can lose a goats and you have to give up your freedom loving lifestyle and family vacations and it’s actually quit a bit of startup expense. You have to become a doctor over night without training in order to have goats….its A LOT but once you past that major hurdle and adjust to your new lifestyle its a blessing and a joy

I need to catch up on replying to your comments! 😅 I’ve loved to read every one of them!
There are a lot of situations. One thing that really complicates raising goats is pregnancy and birth. That puts a big toll on their bodies. And going into rut every year.
And being down south, in hot, humid weather makes worms really hard on them too.
In general, a pet couple of goats are really easy to take care of.
I’ve actually had very few problems with my goats over the years.
      Keep the mineral out.
      Keep their worms in check.
Keep them out of the weather.
      Give them lots of loves.
      And you’re golden. 🥰

Wow, we are just about to get 2 pygmy goats and you really have me worried now! Doom and gloom! Goats are fragile? Goats are hard work? They live in the mountains eating whatever they find; are they really so delicate when in a domestic situation??!!

    • @DelcifromALifeofHeritage
      @DelcifromALifeofHeritage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Don’t be worried :) but be alert!
Anytime you domesticate and confine an animal, things change.
Worms will be your biggest threat, so just do fecals regularly and worm when necessary. Keep loose minerals out at all times too!
And yes, you be amazed at how fragile goats are.
But they are so fun and loving! I’m so excited that you are about to get some!

@@DelcifromALifeofHeritage I am in cyprus where I hope the livestock is a bit more robust due to nothing being pedigree. The two darlings I pick up later this week are about 4 months old and cross breeds of some kind ( look a bit like Boer). Just finishing a home for them and need to find where i can buy the various drugs needed. Even foodstuffs will be different. Meeting local English speaking expert to discuss food tomorrow!
