I started my Locs 2 weeks ago using the instant loc method. I lost so much length, I love my hair but I’m finding it hard to go out without a wig, the frizz is driving me nuts and I don’t feel neat. I had no idea this was going to test me and my confidence

I remember feeling like that too. Have you tried using anything to help with the frizz?

@@jruelocs775 I spray it with rose water then I tie it so it can be flat. I don’t know what oils to use, so far I use olive oil only… do you have any recommendations for oils to use on starter locs? Thank you so much for responding, I’m feeling insecurity creeping in lol

Yes. I recommend using the growth oil from my product line (Jrue). The link is below.
      www.bejrue.com/product-page/growth-oil
We also have a Loc moisture mist & conditioning gel that will help reduce frizz.
      www.bejrue.com/product-page/liquid-love-loc-mist
      www.bejrue.com/product-page/locs-twists-braiding-conditioning-gel
I will do a video explaining how to reduce frizz.

Sorry for the mixed feelings that your journey is causing. I found it really helpful to do a lot of research by watching videos, talking to people about pros/cons, and the the dedication it takes which gives weight to the word journey. I started my two stand twist method November 2021 and I won't lie say that it has been easy and have a mix of mature, teen, and just budding stage due to the several different types/textures my head has. But I don't regret it and continue to educate myself. Yes "ugly" stages are a thing and too much retwisting can be damaging which I had to do often do to mixed hair type.

I do not have locks but I am natural. Can I use loc products for my two strand twist?
