SuperStreet.lk S15 Silvia with Garrett's latest G series Turbo - G25 660 been tuned on a mainline dyno (aka the heart breaker) in Sri Lanka.
Car has a fully built SR20 from SuperStreet.lk, WEPR Intake, Intercooler & Exhaust Manifold & is been tuned by Sabry from Platinum Auto Spa via a Link ECU

That’s exactly how you want the car to run when doing the final power figures on a dual roller setup.
you want it up on the roller. nothing to see here. Thats how everybody does it on dual rollers. The beginning was a mistake, ill give it that. But the rest of the video was fine.
sorry, was this on 95RON or 95Octane? if its on 95 Octane which is same as 99Ron.

The engine should have made more power even on 95 RON. I was expecting to see around 580bhp. There must be something holding it back...

No demand for higher octane fuel here. And all fuel is government imported and is heavily subsidised. We don't get alot of choice in fuel quality but it is quite cheap

Thats weird, just seen a similar build with the smaller g25-550 make more power and better torque on about same boost.
Was that with a. 72 housing & tuned on 95 ron fuel?

Does it really need a fully built block to get that much power. I thought these blocks are good for 400kw stock??
400 hp 350 ftlbs tq stock block max 400kw way too much
About 380-400hp is rly max on stock rods. Last summer we did rebuild one sr20det engine. It had gt3071 and pushing 1,7bar boost. Only 1 rod was litle bit banana shape and crank bearings was bad.
Im confused aren't the g25's bottom mount? As they are a t2 turbo?
You can simply make a manifold for it to be a top mounted turbo. You can also get the G series turbos in a V-Band.
You can either get a flanged or v band housing. Most if not all sr v band manifolds are top mount.

Hi @Lee, The car made 375 WHP @ 1.68 Bar boost on 95 Octane (the only high octane pump fuel we got here in Sri Lanka) Should be well over that if it was tuned on 98 or E85 :) Full boost comes on @ 4200 RPM & the owner loves the bottom end & top end response considering its small package.
Piston Torque would spool improve with higher octane fuel ? What crank would you estimate 375whp was ?
I too am curious. I feel like there’s more to be had, whether it’s fuel holding him back or not. I still wonder if the 660 is the choice over the 550 for this application.

Is this the .49 version?
By my educated guess it's the .72 maybe even the .92. If you look closely at 3:02 there is no drop in boost pressure at redline, which would happen with the smallest A/R Housing. The .49 would def be more suited to a car with a twin-turbo setup.
