    Good video and review of this card. Got my own RX 7800 XT last week and I'm very happy with it, crushes 99% of games on 1440p high/ultra settings. Would also like to see benchmarks of this card with undervolted settings, keep the videos coming!

      Outstanding - which model did you get? Yeah, I was genuinely impressed with how it performed! I'm currently putting my newest review card through it's paces, but I agree - would like to see those undervolted numbers as well! Thank you so, so much for watching and reaching out - It's great to meet you & I hope your new 7800 XT serves you well! Glad to see AMD finally hitting that mid-tier with compelling offerings again!

      I Got the Powercolor Hellhound RX 7800 XT, also got it undervolted since yesterday @1025mV. Have not seen any performance reduction what so ever. Can't wait to see the next video you put up! @@haitok

      @@KeyaertsDid you see any noticable reduction in temps?

    • @Keyaerts
      @Keyaerts ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really, but I have been playing a bit older games this week (Gears 5 and Dirt 5). For those games I locked the fps at max. 90 and temps are usually around 48c. In my initial testing with the Witcher 3 and Crysis Remastered I never saw temps above 57c.@@justinyee5544

    I have the same card model. I can get 21000 in timespy now with a bit of undervolting and tuning. The drivers are maturing, this is great. And your video actually helped me decide to buy this card btw.

    Hi, I have the same case, and I'm wondering if this graphics card will fit with the Fractal side fans panel

    • @haitok

      To be perfectly honest, I didn't try. It never got warm enough to me to think to try. I'll do some digging and see if I can't find out! Fractal North case is awesome, though. How you liking it?

    Have you looked into undervolting this card? How were the temps whilst gaming? Great review btw!

    • @haitok
      @haitok  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, yeah - I've read that the 7800 XT undervolts, really well! Just at stock settings, the average GPU temp was around 52-55C, w/junction temps in the low to mid 70's, depending. Fans never really spun up that fast to keep it that way. I thought about including heat & power draw slides for this review, but still figuring out what to include in these reviews! But, yeah - temps were great in gaming! Thank you so much for watching and commenting - Always happy to talk about this card! Had a great time benching and gaming on it!

    Hello, I am writing to you asking for direct information on that video card. Unfortunately online there is conflicting information on the real power to use for it, furthermore it is not clear the real tdp it would have. Basically having tested it can you give me direct information on power and tdp? thanks

      At 100% usage, I see upwards of 250w of power draw as reported by RivaTuner Statistics Server.

    when you talk about the crashes, do you mean you have to update the mobo bios or the gpu bios? i assume its the mobo but just curious

    How was the coil whine on your card ? Mine starts to whine a lot above 150W

    • @haitok
      @haitok  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Truthfully, I didn't really notice it much! There were a couple instances when I was pushing an uncapped overclock, but it wasn't terrible. My biggest issue was fan noise at higher levels. Just went from quiet to deafening with hardly anything in between. Sorry to hear yours has been whiney!

    Is it safe to pair this with a 750w psu? (i5-14600kf,32gbDdr5,240aio, 6 fans, 3 m.2 ssds)???

    • @haitok
      @haitok  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, sorry about the late reply. 750w might be a touch skinny for this card, honestly. Would probably be good with an undervolt or keeping the default power limit in adrenalin. AsRock's official recommended PSU is 800w on the product page.

      Min 500
      Max 3000
      Voltage (test it ur self) : for benchmark start around 1020 for games 1070 because mine stable in benchmark 980 mv but stable in cyberpunk 1070 mv.
      Vram 2600 (decrease if crash)
      Fast timing (don't use if crash)
      -10 power limit
      You're gonna see better performance for less watt, but MAKE SURE to use it for games, using it for daily uses is weird because it takes more watt than default.
      If you want around same performance for much less watt (210 W max and usually uses 190W in games i play), set the maximum clock to 2300

    FSR2 quality is perfect for this gpu at 4k.. It looks good, minimal flaws and pushes fps in almost everything over 60fps.. I own Hellhound and its perfect. Undervolt it, 10% less gets it in 240w range and in many games it will boost up to 2700 mhz..
