Over in Tierrasanta the copper system is producing 540 gallons/hour at 12 degrees higher than the pool temp. The system is brand new and has not been adjusted for max production. Thanks your your encouragement and videos. With the pool now 65, will there be swimming in February or will warm water be knocked down by another rain?….it was up to 72 when the cold rain fell last week.
Swimming in the winter relying strictly on solar is virtually impossible unless you live in a warmer climate like Central or South Florida. In winter months the days are shorter, and the sun is much less intense and lower in the sky, so significant solar heating gains is difficult. Pools also lose a lot of heat at night with the low temperatures. A properly sized SwimEasy solar pool heating system will typically increase pool temperature by 7-15 degrees based on seasonal weather conditions. A pool cover, such as the GeoBubble high performance pool covers we offer, are also a great option to reduce heat loss and also retain the heat you are putting in your pool from sources such as solar.
Maybe I’m missing the details, how much can these panel increase your temps? I have a gas heater and was seeing if there are additional supplement heat sources to not run the heater as aggressive. But not seeing any case studies on before after and what you should expect.
A properly sized solar pool heating system will increase water temperature by 8-15 degrees, sometimes more, depending on variables such as seasonal weather conditions, panel orientation, and daily solar run time.
@@pajeeper420 Most systems tie into the existing pump/filtration equipment. An independent system can be done, but it's not a common method. The pump horsepower requirements depend on the size of the solar system, length of plumbing runs, and height above the pump to the panels.
I just installed the panels completely backwards and drilled too many holes in my roof because I couldn’t hear what he was saying over the loud friggin music . Now all the water is pouring into my family room, but at least it’s warm.
When in doubt please give us a call we have solar pool heating technicians ready to help walk you through your project from start to finish. Appreciate the feedback on the music i will relay that to the video team.
This audio mixing is wild

@@solarpoolsupply9793 the challenge is on! Yes a solar blanket is important for evaporation control, loss of chemical control, and heat retention.

Question. Does the panels need a pump to run the water?
checked your other video and answer should be yes. Hmm... hope one day you can give a video how to connect this one into an existing gas heating pump.
Yes, these are thermal heating panels, so a pump and filter are required to cycle water through them.
But you can use your existing pump or you need a more powerful pump with higher volume?

Good video, but I would lose the music as it is distracting.
We appreciate the feedback.

maybe try not drinking so much while installing it? 😂

Great video, but the music is overpowering your voice. Makes it very distracting.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass this along to the film crew for future videos.
