No other soup compares to Campbell's. I tried a vegetable soup from another brand the other day, and it tasted like plain water. Most of the Campbell's soups, I don't add water to. Many cam be eaten right from the can (unless you're within polite society, at the time).
It's called the Transatlantic accent. It was in movies and actors had to study it to be able to act. It was so the English language could be understood anywhere, including GB. Anyone could speak this way but it was usually spoken by the upper class since you had to be educated in speaking this way. It was regarded as "correct English", a blend of American and British English.
Once in 6th grade music class, my teacher showed us that commercial. One kid said in the back “THATS STUPID!” then my teacher said “it’s not stupid, it’s just different.”
Too much sodium is the thing in all Campbell's soups. That's why i often avoid that brand. Is there any way you can enjoy soup without all that sodium?
