Nice setup!! I have same desk and i liked a lot the plant on the right side, can you put the link here? I couldn't find it anywhere on IKEA.
Did you used the screws for the support pole by drilling holes in to the karlby or did you just placed it under it without attaching?

When you just bought the desk I didn’t really like it but now it looks so much better. The desk mat, the monitor light and the speakers fit so well togheter. Maybe a desk lamp would look good near one of the plants!

Was the ultrawide not that good of an experience? I am looking to buy same Xiaomi ultrawide, but I am a bit sceptical because of the black smearing issues some people talk about. Did you have any of those issues? How were the viewing angles? Would you recommend it?
I didn’t personally experience any major issues with the ultra wide monitor and the viewing angles have been fine in my opinion. I personally recommend it if your looking for a budget ultra wide monitor as for the price it’s worth the money but if you’re looking for the ultimate experience than you should go for something else.
Does this countertop really need a middle support beam? It seems to be quite sturdy
It does if you’ll have lots of weight on it. I was also surprised when I started noticing it bending.

Is the chair comfortable? is the lower back support good?
Yeah I’ve been happy with how comfortable it is and the lower back support has been good in my experience but I’m not someone who usually gets back pain or anything like that.

Hey I bought them black, here they are available but I know lots of people are interested in them and they often get out of stock. You can definitely paint them to if you’d like but of course the results are probably gonna be not as good as the original ones

@@Brianqkbut the drawers are 58 cm and the countertop is 63 cm?
@@user-hl4rq4cv4x the top extends a little in the back which is perfect for mounting the mic arm for example 😊

get rid of the white leg in the middle of your table top, it is not needed with the Karlby
It actually started sagging after a few months, if you have much weight on it I would advise to use some sort of support
