Hey. Thanks for all the videos. Super informative and fascinating for a Brit bike nerd like me. I’d love to learn about cylinder/ring seating and break in. What do you recommend. I’m building a TR6 desert sled here in Vermont over the winter and I really want to start it up before I can take it for a break in ride. Is that not a good idea? Thanks!
hey man so starting it to like check timing and such would be okay but to seat rings there needs to be a good load on the engine so dont run it too much
@ thanks. Proud to say it fired right up once I set the timing right. I’ll be that kook riding in 40deg once the roads are clear. I have another request- would you make a video on your process for fixing boogered up threads? Helicoil? Thread repair? And most importantly. How do you figure out the proper pitch and thread count? It’s an important step that I have not seen anyone go into great detail on. Thanks!
