That's why i like my 4 bolt set up so well... jugs's up side down on the bench..... install one piston at a time way easy..Install the next piston. Also you only need one ring compressor.Once both piston's are installed just flip the jug's over to install.Next i install 4 base nut's to the 4 squared up stud's The 4 in the center close together and then thread the 4 bolt's appox 3 1/4 long to the base nut's.Next just flip your jug's over with the piston's that have all ready been installed on top off the 4 bolt's and your on.Now you can let go of the jug's because the jug are sitting on top of the 4 bolt head's ..No strain no pain. Now adjust your 4 nut's up or down so you can slip your piston sleeve in to the piston with no problem..Beat's trying to hold on to the heavy jug and try and work them over you pistons and ring's.........This work's great when you are doing a top end only and the engine is still mounted in the frame and you are by your self.Work's great as well when on the bench and your engine is mounted on a engine stand.....Hope this my help someone's job go a bit better.......Phil.....
Thanks for another great video good sir! I wonder could you tell me what grit hone you use for those Hepolite rings? I have the same rings to retro-fit to my 67' Daytona as the NOS LF Harris rings (and pistons) I originally fitted after boring are still smoking a bit after a couple of hundred miles. Best Regards Paul
Great explication of the process 👍!!!!!.......one question.......the royal Enfield build .....when is part 2 🤔????, i ask because i have the same bike (650 enfield ) ,I'm thinking of doing the same , I'm waiting to see the end result. Peace out ✌
that video didnt do very well so i wasnt super motivated to do a fallow up. ive rode it around and now its coming back apart for paint and final details. ill do a final assembly video and a walk around/ ride in the spring
OK 👍,I'll wait until the video comes out ,if the final result is anything like your normal builds its gonna be brilliant 😁, until then ....keep them coming !!!. Peace out ✌️

Picked up some nice tips with this vid. Lifting the jugs to remove clamps and attaching the base gasket to the jugs. Nice work.
Appreciate it! I try to share what I've learned.
Great watch as always
