      I'm 53 years old and, my own poor choices notwithstanding (I really had a distorted view of dating dynamics and female nature as a young man), I'm finding that the biggest obstacle to finding a good woman these days, is lack of availability in the market. It seems that dating apps, social media, pop culture, etc have all contributed to a population of females that embodies everything that a man doesn't want in a partner. The only thing working in my favor is that young men today seem to have the same problem. I'm genuinely concerned for my own adult children (one young man and one young woman) as they try to navigate this modern clown world.

    The most interesting thing about all of this is the amount of work that needs to be done. Sadia has said this perfectly well, newer generations are growing up with certain mentalities, expectations, beliefs, etc, etc. To change this, to try and help someone to become emotionally vulnerable so that they can develop the capacity to be emotionally intimate is, very difficult.

Guys, level up/maintain your masculinity not just for women but also yourself. Signs of a Good Woman: she does not claim to be something she isn't, she does not fabricate her qualifications, she does not sprinkle in toxic advice in amongst widely accepted truths, she does not claim her own world view to be representative of that of all women, she does not defraud lonely and desperate men, she does not bully critics in her comment sections, she does not pay or coerce an army of simps to saturate her comment sections with appraisals and harass her critics. At approximately 05:10, you mentioned something that unlocked a significant issue for me - the reason why I struggle to find emotionally stable partners. In order to establish an emotional connection, I pretend to be financially broke despite being small-scale wealthy. However, when I eventually reveal my financial, and career success, they often disappear or feel incompatible all of a sudden in comparison and I try to reassure it's i want inner qualities but partnership but it doesn't work.
    I have finally let go and healed years of emotional wounds, but by embracing my own unconventional path, I have become somewhat of an outlier. It seems complicated to find a perfect balance where both love and compatibility exist in the quantity that matches my readiness for a relationship. Where do I even find that right mix for me a women who is hoping for love at the same time as me? it's not who it's more when I feel.

    • @kooskey
      @kooskey 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      At 09:30, the reason we repeatedly express our needs is because it is often used as a means to manipulate us, especially in long-term relationships. Personally, I have encountered partners who were dealing with emotional wounds that they were trying to heal. Initially, I was drawn to the intensity and passion in the beginning stages of the relationship, but as time went on, they began prioritizing their own validation over my needs. This gradual shift became toxic without me even realizing how severe it had become within a relatively short period.
      In retrospect, I should have walked away and held women accountable for their actions and promises. Ending my marriage and starting over allowed me to recognize this recurring pattern. It's important to note that these women are not inherently bad; rather, they rely heavily on another person and struggle with independence and had trauma adn never felt safe growing up. I grew up thinking love was the ultimate goal for me. However, over time it becomes painful when you realize that you had fallen in love with someone's potential and idealized version of them rather than who they truly are.

    • @toxiccylon
      @toxiccylon 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I remember when I was growing up, there was a song that said something along the lines of she fell in love with my potential not who I am, and I never understood that so I got to a certain age and as I’ve grown as a man I’m 43 years old now I understand that more than anything You have to be able to love people for what they are not for whether or not, and these people have to want to progress as all human beings in ways where they have to challenge themselves. Sometimes the complacency comes to play and there’s not much you can do but sit there and say, do I really want to stay in this relationship with a total stranger, there’s nothing wrong with watching people grow or growing apart. I’ve never been married, and I don’t think I need to be married to have that kind of companionship with someone I’m not being disrespectful or aiming anyone that is married you guys try to do something very beautiful, but the way our world works now is I feel like instant gratification is something far beyond our measure. At this point we have to truly realize that expectations are real, and lowering them is even more daunting. I say this in the most helpless, romantic way that I can. I am very much a person that wears my heart on my sleeve, my emotions on my face, and I’ve been ridiculed for it, and more than one way throughout my life.

  • @linlinali
    @linlinali 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    her approach is a little bit black and white.. yes it helps many to find their way back to feminine masculine balance so her mission is quite beautiful. Yet there r so many variations and styles of living.. bottom line is that almost all of us grew up in some kind of toxic parenting environment where we reacted to this ongoing situation either by not standing up for our needs or dominating and controling everyone in order to survive. Now as adults especially young adults we have walked into relationships totally unaware of our core behaviors and reactions as it runs autopilot since age 2. I think what all humans should do is being dedicated to heal their own wounds be able to look at the mirror and see ourselves and our disfunctioning parts honestly and willing to work on them and change them for a better behavior. Without this inner need and active work on ourselves all the relationship will fail. All the rest such as the mental and physical match and figuring these out are totally secondary problems or things to be worked on. Imagine you are in a relationship, have more or less similar needs values etc. yet it still fails as one or both of the parties are not willing to work on themselves and their behaviour that was carried from
    age 2. This requires to remove the wall from around the personal ego (what we think of ourselves of who we are) and also remove the wall from the “this is my family, am proud of my parents bringing me up this way” ego. Most people would think adjusting these would cost of losing their identity. It doesnt. It is about actually enriching our souls by learning new skills in adulthood. I am in a relationship where I am open to asjust my behaviour and willing to seek help so that I can be an emotionally better functioning human while the person I live with thinks he doesnt need any adjustments his religion and praying is enough. I respect that, I also pray to god and have my spiritual life yet I believe it is not enought to solve human created problems.

    Boundaries are one of the most important things to be mindful of when dealing with toxic men. I found that cutting out the negative people has been much better for me.

    After a fight with my ex we took a month time. Just time to think some stuff, and during that time she flirted with another guy, then told me she kissed him but It was randomly and she was sorry, and 2 months later I caught her sending a text to the guy who invited her to a concert, to do something more fun and that he could impress her with his ideas. She claims this wasn't cheating cuz they never met, but to me it was clear she was trying to have sex. Therefore, when I learnt all this I decided to move on.
    Save your time and expose them if necessary in public. I don't care what some think, people like her must be exposed.

    I jumped into to a Mia K tiktok just to see the hype on it. Looked in the comments and saw a profile that turned out to be for 12 year old girl who posted on Mia's clip "You are my role model want to be you when I grow up." Not a parent but my heart sank and broke for that girl.
