    I watch this channel because I like to see people who really know what they’re doing but don’t come across as know-it-alls. Most of all love how everyone gets along and shows good humor even under deadline pressure. I could never watch those “reality” fabricator shows where they felt the need for conflict and people yelling at each other to make it more dramatic. Plus you’re just all-around good people. You guys rock.

    My favorite color is yellow. It's just so vibrant and alive. I played an ultra-rare bright banana yellow American Kramer electric guitar for many years. It was number five of only eight that we're ever made. Best sounding guitar I've ever played.
    I'm also a huge fan of the XJ. I've owned two and loved them both for many years. Just seeing this bright yellow XJ always puts a smile on my face.
    Then, to make a video involving that XJ, all of the love you put into it, surrounded by an awesome group of people who are living a life that so many dream of having just sews it all up.
    I can always depend on this channel to put me in a better space when I'm feeling bitter about how ignorant we all can be.

      Time will tell as to pulling the trailers.

    • @orangepickel2
      @orangepickel2 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @RollinRat give me a little credit I have somewhere between 750 and a million miles of driving a big rig draging 53 ft trailers up and down every single mountain of the east coast of the United States up and down the Rocky mountains Continental divide United States including 11,000 ft pass in Colorado on the i-70 and in the dead of winter with black ice on the road. There are many things that affect the abilities of the cooling system of a airplane a boat a car a truck as a variable that change on a daily basis. An example I help company I was working for at the time as a licensed small vessel captain by a 70-ft crew boat was made of aluminum this had twin 12V 71 twin turbo charge intercooled Detroit Diesel engines. Saltwater fishheat exchanger cooling system when you have the saltwater cooling of a heat exchanger that has antifreeze in the fresh water side. Deller guaranteed that the vessel could make 21 knots which is roughly 23 24 mph ocean water of Texas. Roughly 29° of latitude. However it was shipped to the island of Guam 13° of latitude above the equator the ocean temperatures are much warmer at or near the equator than they are in Texas the amount of humidity in the air meaning water vapor of the temperature of the air itself is quite different that vessel could never exceed 17 knots full throttle in speed runs now the engine room is on the vessel has forced air ventilation meaning fans blowing air into the engine room to aid in cooling. I was a captain of that vessel.
      As a private airplane pilot I know that anything called sectional density altitude that if the air temperature is above a certain number of degrees that even a jet engine airplane that does not have after burners on it cannot develop enough ground speed for for the airplane to take off.

He took glasses off for just moment to look at an invoice and didn't remember to put them back on. 60 seconds later he was blind in 1 eye. Had 1 little girl and another on the way. Push back against the seat backrest. You will hear some pops, cracks and flexes. Then tonight take a bag of frozen peas and place them behind your back where it hurts. Swap out the frozen peas with a heating pad every 30 min. Life will be better. I do this every day on our company forklift. My back feels better afterwards. Give it a try.

    To get the most from that big radiator, make sure the fan is about 1/3 exposed on the back side with as as close a tip clearance as the engine movement will allow. Also should open up those louvers in the hood. The radiator area and fan are largely wasted if you can’t get the air out of there fast and you have filled much of the path down for the air. Unfortunately with the new cowl air intake the engine,will breath a lot of that really hot air from the louvers costing some HPs, but I guess it is hot air anywhere you get it.

    We just got back from the eastern Sierras a couple of weeks ago. I hope you weren't planning on catching fish. All of our usual hot spots resulted in a big skunk!
    But, on a serious note, a young couple, their child and dog were found deceased in the Sierras a few days ago. They were seasoned mountain climbers who have done the Himalayas, Gobi desert among other places. There is one lake in the Tioga pass, Horseshoe lake, that is considered hazardous due to the air quality surrounding the lake. Mind you, this is many years before all the current fires.
    Stay safe.

      Very true, but I think Matt will try to do a road test in the next video, assuming he gets it running first, so if any last minute adjustments that may be needed, get done before he officially takes off.
      I would not be surprised if Trevor gets at least the wiring back enough to put the dash back in, have proper lightage, and at least the front seats in and of course the steering wheel and shifters so they can drive it and be road worthy for the trip and then finish all that when he gets back.

    Loved the positivity of the returning Boss Man. So happy that safety has become more than a suggestion. You're still going to go through those safety glasses quicker than your average shop, primarily because y'all aren't use to the availability. I would suggest being careful with where you place and store them. To see who loses the most glasses etch names on the temple of the frames or otherwise make them distinctive. Rudy working at a welding shop may have a bit more recent experience in wearing such devices. Love you guys. Just wanna have ya around for years to come.

      LOL, I was the same growing up, even found one year the Monopoly game under my parent's bed, LOL, that was before Christmas, and have been able to make an "educated" guess by the not so vague impressions through solid wrapping paper of an album I got, and guessed right. Still, the thrill of getting it was not lost. But my parents were also enterprising enough to surprise me by giving me my Dad's old Ford Fairmont a(POS) by hiding the X type of tire iron in a flat box with rocks to disguise it, and then a similar trick with a 35mm point and shoot Canon camera.
