It's not like Chinese, Korean or Japanese whereas there's different sentence structures and rules you have to follow within the language itself. As long as one's willing to learn a specific language, it'll be less of a hassle to learn :)
Karen Yang lol do u know how complex English is. Have u not learnt English grammar - present tense, past tense, past participle, present participle, simple past for every verb and irregular verbs. Being fluent in writing and speaking in both English & Mandarin, I personally find mandarin less complex. (putting aside the fact that learning spelling is easier than strokes)
