To make sure I'm not breaking the thread while tapping, I only make one turn, then I go back half one, that's what I was taught at school. The hardest part is to start it lol.

Hi ! Please i would like that somebody can help me. I have a CRV 2000 B20z1 engine and also I have a B16a2 Head spare. I would like to know the steps i need to follow to install the B16 Head on B20z1 block
damn, that VHT paint looks solid. I might give that a shot.
For the shift linkage removal a 12mm Honda AC compressor bolt is the perfect size "punch" to drive the pin and seperate the linkage from the shift shaft. Just a few whacks with a nice sledge and a punch will get it out, just FYI.
b series are real common, so alot of people can relate to this video not everyone has a k series as the haters debate that everyone should lol,I myself am b series and love it,awsome vid.

I have a question if I use a high compression b20 block with a b18 type r head. It is necessary to change the pistons. so that they do not hit the valves?

Debating on if I want to B20V my Hatch with a B16 trans in the meanwhile while I fund and wait on 4Piston to build me a K24... I definitely want to ditch the boring stock D16 ASAP

I did d15b vtec turbo wagon EK hatch y8 turbo helped other people do some swaps but anyways D17a turbo and zc daul cams are pretty mean with arp and head gasket setup factory done some crazy stuff homemadeturbo......

Does machining down the head and using a thinner gasket result in valves hitting pistons ?
Hey I’m planning to do a b20v soon. So far I found a gsr b18c1 motor to do the swap. Can you give me some tips (pro/con) about using a gsr head instead of a type r head?

I reversed a vtec head that was on a b18 ls block, whats happens if i forget to remove the plug AND put It on a b16a2 block? Will It choke the oil feed?

Hi. Im doing a b20 vtec swap on to an ek coupe a b16 head b20z block. What header or stock header will work and clear the oil pan and line up with the ek cat? As long it lines up I don’t mind cutting the flange at the end and weld the correct bolt pattern to the cat. Or vice versa. Thanks.

Although this video is 7 Yeats old now, their is still not a ton of info out there if this head gasket holds up or not. What have you experienced? Would you run it again, or do you still run them still? I'm looking at doing one on a B16.

hey bro love the channel. i shouting all the way from Saint Lucia. i have a poor man type r build b18c from the sir g with b20 crank and connecting rods with a b16a p30 head with type r cams valve train , type r in take and throttle body. can the b20 alternator fit the b18c block . i puttin the engine in a ek3 civic sedan . stage three vtec auto. should i used back my engine harness or get a ek4 sir manual one .

No need to take the crank angle sensor off. Just look up the CKF bypass trick and it involves 4 wires going to the ECU.

You can use b16 water pump 27 teeth I believe and oil pump but you need to use a gsr timing belt
by pass the crank sensor there a a rite up on hondatech
