I just wanted to thankyou for this video. I had a dead MP2 battery. I followed your steps and charged my battery with a 12v rc charger like you said @ 2.0a for 30 mins. Reassembled and now I have a working battery! Battery had only 2 charges before it went dead. Again THANKYOU! 🙂
It just doesn't work, i've tried with two batteries. As you can see in the video the LEDs are working but i guess that is just function of the current capacity. He is faking the connection to the charger simply because it won't charge. BMS is not providing/requesting current once you turn on the battery most likely because it is in a sort of safe mode (i guess saved in an eeprom). There are some videos about i2c communication with BMS but people reported it is not working anyway
This was what i was looking for, as i understand this it is effectively resetting the microprocessor on the main battery circuit board... bravo!! 👍🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

i have a similar problem, my battery says broken cell but is charging and all only one cell voltage is lower similar to not balanced, with 2 cells at diffrente voltage: cell's 4.24V then 4.23V then 3.87V?
I didn't understand what you done? You only disconnected the battery positive cable is that to empty the accumulators? What was the proble a circuit board error? Thanks
@@hobbychanel5798 I see, similar to a batery reanimation, like wen some one uses the batery all the way to zero percent and the batery will not charge again it need some stress inpulses to start charging again/some times, other times over discharge kills the batery or the cell

Or would it be better before plugging in the iMax charger to reactivate the cells? Because this battery is only 1 cycle and does not charge because it is with 2.4v

It's not Okay didn't work for me still getting that flashing green light.
On and off the charger while working the indicator for a few minutes at a time can do the same thing. 3rd round and battery is now taking charge.

right, hey here's how you fix it. But im not showing you how to actually get in the case. Okay guess im just buying a new battery then.

when the battery falls below the minimum it does not charge. You need to charge the battery with a 12 volt charger

@ the voltage drops below the critical value so it does not charge
must be charged with another battery charger directly

Did I miss something? I saw you unsolder the + terminal and resolder it back on. How did that fix it? My battery won't even light up :-(
charge it by disconnecting the cable with another 12 volt charger .then solder it
