waiting for the easy part
😂😂😂😂😂
Great video bud. Thanks for the good info.
Great info as always!
Olso thanks for making this video I really like the way you explain things. And it's awesome that I can watch and learn from a fellow south african 😀
Really appreciate the comment , glad you like the content 👍
Great stuff 🙌 🙌
¿Donde puedo descargar el software? ¿Donde comprastes interfaz? Gracias
Hi, I used raspberry pi to clear pf and seal it again. It can power up the drone but will not charge, only led 1 is blinking.
Awesome video and thanks @webuydronessa! Was super seeing the inside of the batteries and understanding them a little better. keep up the great video content! :)
Ps - if a drone has been in someones cupboard for almost 2 years and not flown at all during that time - is there any hope for the batteries and 'saving' them? I suspect those batteries would be 'dead' by now and charging them would probably not help? perhaps I should recommend they get in touch with you for a visit to the 'battery doctor'? ;)
Thanks for the guide. I have a battery pack that won't charge (16 flashes), I have it dismantled and when I check the voltage on the 3 cells, two of them are about 3.8 - 3.9 V, but the other one is zero.
Is that one cell completely faulty, in that it's unlikely that it can be charged again?
Hey Tam, yes thats what it sounds like , you will properly find that last cell takes a charge but won't hold voltage.
Will you be doing a video on the DJI Mini 2 battery ? im in the process of gathering up the tools needed to wake it back up again, software, adaptor board etc. and was thinking if you could upload a step by step video. thanks.
Hi. Sure can. Please send us an email request for the above. Thanks
Very interesting
Can this work for the unreasonable TB60 that cost 750$
👍👍 fascinating
hi, why not just change the original dji bms with a simple classic bms 3s ?
what was charging voltage?
Any alternative de bug board like adrunio or Raspberry pi and what software seen a few videos on TH-cam using those combination for mavic pro
Not that we know of , the issue is the software required to read Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 BMS boards , we use TRB software which is unfortunately no longer available anymore until early 2024
@@webuydronessa any alternative software?
Can you do an dji fpv battery please?
It costs more to purchase all the equipment than it does to just purchase new batteries. If we send you our three batteries, can you get them charging again? And what would be the cost? These are for a Mavik Pro that was only used once, then sat for several years, draining the batteries so far that they won't accept a charge.
Fully understand, thanks for your comment , please pop us an email at orders@webuydronessa.co.za and we can advise further in costings and the process
Does this fix apply to any of the other dji smart batteries?
Yes it does , keep an eye on the channel we will be doing each DJI battery separately going forward, and we even have a really quick and free solution for some DJI batteries coming up soon that we will share 😀
Hey the crazy part bro is that they actually snap apart if you take the time to wedge a credit card edge in between the seams... There are also wires connected to each battery lever.
Yes sometime we very lucky with some batteries that come apart really easy , other times we have no choice but to cut 😅
Where can we purchase replacement battery cases?
Of you based in South Africa we normally carry stock
Hello, I have 2 batteries that only last about 5 mins. Can they be resurrected?
Thanks for watching , the only way would be to replace the actual cells in the battery which is not always worth it. Your overall battery capacity has depleted , this happens over time.
Know of anyone in the states doing this? Where can a person get new Platinum shells? Thx
We don't know of anyone in the states unfortunately, replacement cells can be bought on Aliexpress as far as we know , you just need to check the shipping details as battery cells cannot be flown in.
@@webuydronessa Battery housings. In the one video you said your clients get new battery cases after they're cut open. Where can a person get new platinum cases? Thx
We have not managed to find Platinum casings as yet , only the normal grey casings
Do you offer a repair service? I have 3 Mavic Pro Batteries that are dead as a door nail and I do not have the equipment or skill set to repair them.
Yes we absolutely do
@webuydronessa Awesome how much does you typically charge to repair 3 batteries (Yup all 3 of mine went dead as I didn't get to fly or do anything with the drone over COVID way back).
Are you based in South Africa ? 🇿🇦
@webuydronessa No unfortunately London United Kingdom.
Since I don't own any of the required tools I will just buy a new battery.
Easy Peasy :D
🤙😁
🙌🏼🙌🏼
I have 3 dead Mavic Pro Batteries. How can I send them to you?
Please send us an email at orders@webuydronessa.co.za and we can assist from there
You dont need to dremel the batteries open. The ones i have i opened with a butter knife and can 1000% reuse the case hardly being able to tell it was opened.
Yip some open easy , some don't
@@webuydronessa lol yeah like the only 4 that ive opened. All 4
I'm having trouble finding the GND pin on the DJI Mavic Pro battery electronic board, may I know which pin it is to connect to the DJI Bat Killer, because the smbus
can't be read
Hi. The process is different for the Mavic Pro battery. Please see this video th-cam.com/video/0ayRK1WTeWw/w-d-xo.html
Wonderful. But please get rid of the incredibly annoying background music ! We are here to learn, not to be entertained. Imposition of background music makes it difficult to concentrate on the content.
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated 👍
I decided to give up quickly. Thanks.
Why is that?
amazing I can just buy a new one
Quick and easy?
Think I will rather bring it for you guys to do lol
Easier 😀🤙
Where is the easy part
Easy if there is some common sense applied, that's why there is this video 📹 😀
But of course you guys offer this service right? 😅
Absolutely 💥
Not sure everyone wants to demolish their battery to fix it
Sure but most cases it's the only way is to have to take it apart , far cheaper than buying a new one 😅
It would be cheaper to buy a new battery
Lol..might as well but a new battery.
u guys dont understand, the easy part is watching this video. see..easy right😂
"easy" LOL
Fixing Your Dead DJI Mavic Pro Battery....................OMG.........hahaha put a dremal to a lipo......OMG
Risky business lol but if you know where to cut its pretty simple , we have not hit a lipo as yet 🙂
what is this non sense?? just buy a new one, it'd much cheaper!
This nonsense is to help others help themselves, we have a much easier solution which is 100% cheaper than buying a new one 🤙 that video coming soon
@@webuydronessa 'That video coming soon': you mean there will be another solution for mavic 1 Pro batteries?
Yes correct 👌 a much quicker solution
Great news. I tried it with the C2112 board, with no luck.😢. Hoe long do we have to wait?
This fix will be with the CP2112 board , hopefully we can film and get the video out within the next 2 weeks
Does anyone do this service in new Zealand 😊 I have 3 which went in hibernation mode and i tried everything
Really not sure in NZ , hopefully there is someone who can assist you.
@@webuydronessa how much do you charge to fix them maybe i can send mine to S A
Sure you welcome to, we charge R1200 which is around $110 NZ Dollars each .
@@webuydronessa maybe not worth it . I can buy new ones from dji for $ 149 nz. But thanks anyway
Yeah I think the quick and easy guide would be to drop it off @WeBuyDrones :D
Lol yes even easier 🤙😀
