    cool detailed video , i have installed them on my 2020 CTR with an aftermarket radiator (koyorad) but now the 2 pipes is always touching each other is that ok ?

      Minor contact shouldn't be a problem, but you may be able to resolve it easily by loosening the clamp on one end of each of the hoses slightly and twisting them. When installed, normally they should have a very slight gap between them in areas where they cross, but that is with all OEM intake components and radiator, so it's possible some aftermarket parts may cause them to be routed very slightly differently. Nonetheless, minor contact shouldn't cause you long-term issues.

    Can you recommend a specific coolant brand when refilling?

    • @rgareh1
      @rgareh1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      OE Honda Coolant is always a safe bet, but generally you just need to make sure you get something that's compatible with an aluminum block (normally these variants are marketed as being for Asian vehicles when sold as generics at most chain auto stores).

    do you not need to turn the temperature of the car to full HOT when purging air from the radiator system using the 2nd method?

    • @ACUiTYinstruments
      @ACUiTYinstruments  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you do not👍. The second method follows steps stimilar to Honda's recommended coolant fill procedures, where the entire air conditioning system remains off while the engine is running to purge air bubbles into the expansion tank.

    what's the difference with oem and acuity and how do it perform better or cooling?

      As luck would have it, we actually have a whole video explaining this in great detail. Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/JrXN-F6dhNI/w-d-xo.html

    can i use aquity radiator hoses with aftermarket intercooler?

    • @ACUiTYinstruments
      @ACUiTYinstruments  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Just want to make sure you mean aftermarket radiator instead of intercooler? If so, yes our radiator hoses fit aftermarket radiators 👍.

    • @rgareh1
      @rgareh1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, just to add to what @acuityinstruments posted, we are not aware of any intercooler that creates any fitment issues with these radiator hoses.

    • @benrusle
      @benrusle 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      so its meant that this hoses is design perfectly only for stock intercoler and radiator only right?

    • @rgareh1
      @rgareh1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@benrusle Incorrect. These hoses are compatible with aftermarket radiators designed for the FK8. Aftermarket intercoolers do not change the radiator position, so that is not a problem either.

    No FC1? 😩

    • @rgareh1
      @rgareh1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      FC1s use a horizontal-flow rad that is thermally aligned with the intercooler better. There would be no net gain from reversing radiator flow on an FC1.

    • @SoteroA
      @SoteroA 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rgareh1 perfect thanks, so basically changing the hoses to silicone could be considered a cosmetic thing on the FC right?

    This seems so confusing lol - how much would it cost for a professional install. It's like too much work for such a similar piece...

    • @rgareh1
      @rgareh1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the same effort as installing another set of OEM hoses. So the fee to install these or another set of OEM hoses would be the same. We don't perform installs though, so unfortunately we cannot provide an estimate.
