I found while you run, on the first bit of leaves you need to tap, but after that you hold it down and it works, so I only needed to tap once and its good.
Came here to say this. Just make sure you're looking at leaves when you press E, but then hold the key down and you'll hoover up everything as you run around and not need to repeatedly tap E
Also if you hold E after collecting leaves then enter the inventory and let go of E and close inventory it will keep collecting until you press e again
Wow founds some really nice alts. Catch you on the next stream and hope your going to go exploring as I have found better than my old Alloy Iron Ingot, Solid Steel Ingot setup. Hope you find what I did. These are some mind blowing things.
Yeah, what you said at the end makes sense, we don't know anything about Earth really, just what ADA tells us... Definitely sinister... Something that hit me was when ADA asks during the onboarding about your memories, and then later says that it's normal to not have them and that FICSIT considers having memories of humans or beloved animals as a distraction for pioneers. So they even completely wipe pioneers' memories of their lives before sending them on these missions... keeps them focused on their task I guess, but also means they could be told anything about what's happening on Earth and not know any better.
Just getting into the game, been trying to figure out ratios and general game flow on my own but the stress of managing my ore nodes, maintaining enough space and generally making enough to supply the tier upgrades is getting a bit much. So I’m aiming to learn what I can to smoothen out the process from your streams :D Might see if I can join a stream at some point since I’ve still got a fair few questions that have piled up after my 8 hours so far.

Good to see another person to join me in my lonely forest. Was kinda Nerf for the 1.0 release after the Speed-Run Cliff video. But I have love this place from the very start. Requires you to build in a Narrow verticality w/ the builds but lets you truly unique builds.
So there will be no series like the one for update 8 right? Having a bit of explanations with schematics was great. But probably a good part of them still work in 1.0
Not to the same degree - the explanations are already in the Update 8 series, so my 1.0 series will assume people know that stuff already. So it'll be a bit faster generally.
2:41:30 i really wish he had just merged the two rod constructors (15 + 15 =30) then immediately split them back 3 ways (30/3 = 10) the way he could choose how which of the 10s can go to screw and which stay as rods at 100% capacity.
Yeah inFamous and Killzone kinda went out with 7/10 energy with Second Son and Shadowfall. Then the studios new IP Horizon and Ghost of Tsushima sold really well so it seems unlikely they’ll go back :(

Anyone else get super nauseous with how fast he slide-jumps? When I play the game myself I slide for about a quarter of a second before I jump, but he jumps like 1 frame after the slide starts and it’s super nauseating. Everything else is great though
@@ItsNekotaku i know slide jumps are ideal. I do them as well, but the sheer speed that he inputs them. The instant jerk, moving the camera down to crouch then shooting up in less than 5 frames is just nauseating
Too bad this game is giant time aink. Ive never gotten past level 3 because it takes easily 40 hours to get to level 3 and then the rest. This game needs a "ive got a day job" setting
larger production lines reduces wait time, where you can throw in some manual crafting if you feel the need. At that stage manual is still faster than using the factory.

Holding E works. You just have to initially press E on a plant/ wood and then hold it while you move.

I like to build two constructors for bio mass. One for wood and one for leaves. That way you don’t have to keep switching.
The "Straight" function favors a turn at the last moment, so you can sometimes get the line you want starting at your destination.
