I’m watching these as fast as I can. A lot of the time I’m listening at work. Love your style and can’t wait to play this for myself. (I’m currently dealing with multiple technical issues. The game is crashing on startup every time!) Thanks for all the great content!
Enjoying the streams! I started in the same area. Following along a bit love your play style and explanations! Learned a lot about the game watching your previous series!
I know this is an old stream but still loving it. Watching while I play and playing satisfactory while taking a break from manor lords so thats cool that you work on that too.
2:03:52 My game spawned me up on that cliff area above the hard drive by the rock pillar. pretty decent area to start off plenty of iron, copper and a limestone deposit. and is that a noblisk i see stuck in the ground at 2:04:59?
Hey Darren, not sure if you know, but you can build splitters/mergers from the ceiling now. Just pull a corner belt from the last drop on the manifold, then drag the belt to just adjacent to the next drop. Then add your splitter and delete/rebuild that drop. And, Viola! You're building directly from the ceiling rather than up from the floor. This method didn't work before, as I'm sure you know, but I guess they added more QoL on belting at some point.
you get enough mercer spheres to have uploads for each individual item on top of fully upgrading the depots. I highly recommend upgrading to at least 120 per min (tier 4), then at the end of your supply chains slapping down a couple storage bins with a depot at the end. That way it doesn't matter if you only make 10 of an item per minute, as long as there's some in storage you can still get the full speed on your depot. Multiple stacks are really convenient too, but I underestimated the difference upgrading speed of depots was. *edit* you can also have multiple depots for an item. I think I had 6 depots on my concrete by the end, because I used so much of it in blueprints.
Bit of both, you can ultimately just belt everything everywhere, no power required, but trucks are fun. But roads will be used later so it was just good to start putting them down I feel.
I think you forgot to change the 3rd machine on each group back to 100% when you upgraded the belts. EDIT: oops, someone noticed it 5 minutes before the end...
When counting your viewers, add 1. I'm still playing catch up lol.
Same 😂😂
same, 2 months later

12:57 that's Kim Jong Un catching up on your stream mate
Watching this 4 days late but even my heart rate increased with that spider encounter. 😂
Awesome video as always dude. Just wanted to note that you can split items by just right clicking too

Watching here, again because I missed the beggining.
Keep up the good work Darren!
Thanks! Will do!

I appreciate it! Thank you!

1:42:54 the equivalent of, did I leave the stove on?
😂 I thought about the same. "I did. Or did I?"
bless you for the "H" tip - I mini rage when I'm in flow state and keep pulling out my chainsaw (which I swear is the loudest thing in the game 😭)
Love the game play - I would suggest rushing to a 5x5 blueprint and then start the blueprint process
Darren turns into Darren the White when the sun comes out.
you should try BIG AMBITIONS (business management + store builder with heavy logistics focus)
Couldn't watch the last hours si came here to catch up keep up the good work!!!❤❤❤

You could have just pulled Iron and Coal on the belt into your factory? Worth setting up all those roads and trucks? Or is it just for funzies?

cant wait till this game comes to consoles the devs announced a console release when 1.0 came out
20:30 NO! 😆😆
The term you are looking for is logarithmic

Back to work so I can't watch live. here now though.
Appreciate it! Ads will be lessened in a little while, YT doesnt give control of it for a little while as its “processing” - even though its out 🤷
