    I LOVE my Wiebad bags with SpexLite. It's a whole different world of weight/encumbrance. I got a few about 1 yr ago and the guys at my club are always amazed. The bags are also holding up better. The light weight means it's not stressing the bag material & the bags are lasting longer. Great product!

    How about the spex lite compared to a regular bean fill?

    • @spexlite
      @spexlite  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In which ways?
      SpexLite isn't a food source so it won't get moldy when wet or attract rodents who could eat through your bag to get food. SpexLite has fills many times lighter than bean fill, as well as heavier. Please let us know what you're looking for and we are happy to provide recommendations. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

      @@spexliteis it structurally stiff when trying to form the bag to fit the right height? How does spexlite compared to gitlite for the purpose of a rifle bag when bench shooting?

    • @spexlite
      @spexlite  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@chillmaster14 Great question. GitLite is a great product. The difference is SpexLite offers different size and weight products. The SpexLite 5064 is about 1mm larger, ~2.5x lighter and a little more compressible. We have heavier particles about 2-3x heavier, rigid particles of different shapes that are rigid (cylindrical and pancake), and we offer a heavy sand that's about 9x heavier than GitLite. You might want to try mixing and matching SpexLite with GitLite to get the advantages of both in your bag. What are you looking to get out of your bag fill?

    To everything you do there is a compromise. There are many lightweight materials, including extenders for epoxy fillers which are super light. The test though, is to see how well it absorbs shock and recoil.
    I will put my money on the cheap sand, even though its heavy to lug around🤷‍♂️

    But how is the stability vs sand

    • @spexlite
      @spexlite  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @The Lizard King great question - thank you for asking! SpexLite has various fills that balance weight savings and stability. Great observation - our lightest fills that are about 100 times lighter than sand do not offer the same stability, yet we have other fills that are up to several times lighter than sand with comparable performance as sand without the drawbacks. We are happy to discuss with you which of our lightweight fills would be best for you and your application. Please let us know! Thanks for watching.

      Which product would be most comparable to sand yet relatively lightweight? Idk if sand can be beat but more than one decent bag and your pack is no longer practical. Thank you so much for the correspondence

      We agree; sand is good but it has several drawbacks including its prohibitive weight.
      For you, the right Spex•Lite® Lightweight Shooting Bag Fill depends on your desired feel and application. For comparable performance as sand, most shooters either go with our Spex•Lite® 5125 (can be ordered at WieBad here: wiebad.com/spex-lite-5125-light-weight-fill/) or our Spex•Lite® 1018R.
      For comparison, Spex•Lite® 5125 is approximately 2.5 mm and 10 pounds per cubic foot, and Spex•Lite® 1018R is smaller (~1.4 mm) and heavier (~46 pcf) than Spex•Lite® 5125. Both SpexLite options offer great weight savings compared to sand, are non-dusty and do not absorb water like sand. Both Spex•Lite® Fill options are extremely durable and setup well in most bags. Please let us know if we can help further, and thank you very much for your interest in our products!

    You want to know why it is so light? Because it is literally styrofoam. That's right, save yourself some money and take some of that white styrofoam, rub it between your hands to get granules and that's the same stuff that you will get with this. For if you want to go even cheaper, get a balloon. Because that is all the support you'll get from this product.

      @@spexlite you sold me junk. Pour junk. Your product is literally styrofoam. Are saying that it is "military grade" Styrofoam? Get real. No one should buy what you have when all you have to do is go to the post office and get Styrofoam packing peanuts.
