That’s fine but the only thing is that if you want to remove the block you’ve got holes in the bass drum rim!! Doesn’t affect the sound but looks pretty crappy Guess you could replace the rim but that’s a extra cost
Very true... I plan to upgrade to a wooden hoop in the future, so I wasn't too worried about this one. In the event that I do remove the block I will just rotate the rim so that the holes are on the bottom and covered by the pedal if needed.
