This build should be included in the tutorial. Something like "This is a basic/standard build, but you can use various other variations."
Finally a decent guide for me to link new players to, great build, especially for new players who might have a little less understanding of map control because of that cannon's guaranteed damage.
The only thing I would add is the stability tech earlier as that prevents the lean such that less is spent on counterweights, I also like to place my workshop 1 to the left such that I dont have to wait for the gunner sale to finish but that's barely a second's difference so no real complaints with that

3:13 I would rekommend just accepting, that the base leans backwards if you even want to save recources by not crossbracing. With architekt it is a different Story because he gets cheaper bracing and you want to tank early game aggression to get your aktive so I wouldnt mind overspending a bit there but still Stability Tech is cheaper and better than counterwaight and counterwaight even stress on your bracing in the first place makes your base much more unstable. You tipically use counterwaight to get your base back in place after you caught your base and its on an heavy angle EG build counterwaight sell the deformed bracing you needed to survive and than let the Base lean backwards and replac the bracing.
We just have different play styles.

This is a really great simple guide for newer or intermediate players. Would be nice to see something like this for other maps, like a basic hanging base or my personal worst map spire.
I hate hanging maps too. Maybe I'll do that. Thank you for the suggestion.

what about defending turbines with energy shield? is it viable or sandbag straightup bettter?
Depends what they have. If they have a cannon or lasers, go a shield. If they have missiles or rockets, go sandbags.
Big help here too. I always put too much into bracing too early.

Oh and a huge mistake was not crossbracing the Wood Box under the Door of the canone in an Canon v canone/laser he can just shot through the bracing and hit the canon nearly destroing it. If its a half decent Player that is using a Sniper your weapon is gone. The howitzer is of course well protected but with a doorsnipe the Match is over. Thats especially bad with architekt because you can't use the Comeback-Mechanik of Architekt. Still a great Video to help new players. I just dont want them to think the perfekt way and that they can alwayse improve there Gameplay.
New players aren't going to be looking at a missing cross brace. This is simply an example. But thanks for commenting.

Yeah, I already have the muscle memory down, so moving it isn't worth it at this point :( I could maybe bind it to a mouse key.

How do you switch between Materials Devices Technology Weapons with keyboard?

My best advice, is look at the hotkeys in the option menu. This is something you should do with any new game.
You need to have all the DLC to get the weapons. If you have the DLC but your friend doesn't, you need to host the lobby, not them :)

It's cheeper to buld some stability tech instead of a counter wight but otherwise it's nice. There also is a better tipe of stability tech.
This is basic Freek, not a pro version.

It still causes the base to lean forward when you put the sandbags on, so it doesn't really matter.

At the start it is a little bit cheesy because you can't affort Mine + Turbine + Tech at the start of the Game so I would rekommend First placing the Mine than the Turbine an than the Tech. With pinchfist it obviously is a different Story.
You want tech out as fast as possible. Technically it comes first. Pros usually do tech, mine, turbine.
@@SynergyGamingTV Im Rank 17 global last season and I dont. With Mine Turbine Tech you can build a 4th Mine before placing the T2 Tech without delaying it than sell the T1 Tech to get your 5th mine. If you place the Tech First you'll at least somewhere miss recources in youre plan. The meta shiftet Like 3 Seasons ago and nearly no one rushes weapons like that anymore because 15 sekonds delay dont Matter and you just can't keep up with the better economy.
This irritates me lmao, it doesn't matter what time your tech is or what time your mines come out with teaching newer players. Just give them a build so they can follow it and be able to focus on more important things. Sure all of synergy's videos if followed a lot will lead to terrible habits but that is not what they are for, they are for people who are new to the game. Saying your rank means nothing to me as the ranked system not accurate of skill at all other then top 50 and better.
As a person that played forts once in 2021 (2024 now) I did not get any of this
