Di has more depth and wisdom in his pinky toe than the majority of us humans groping our way around the planet. He is profoundly self contained, aware, and blessed with a treasure chest of gifts. I lke watching your critique on singers, but in Australia we don't get many Chinese shows with English subtitles. Even your analysis dosen't give subtitles to Chinese

The most common term here in the states is called whistle tone. That note was a D8 which is off the piano.

With string players, we usually don’t call it over-blowing but harmonics. Could just be a translation thing though. :)

No- that note is a D8. Ive seen many dozens of reactors- including singers / opera singers etc including ones who measured it with various programs- they all say its a d8 - so i doubt they all got it wrong.
