One of the best examples of British Concert Band literature ever. Peter Graham is a genius and worth all the trouble I went through to hunt down a CD with this song on it.
I played this song in our county honor band. Got it up and running in about 4 hours, but the =slow section is EASILY my favorite thing that i have ever played EVER. Its just suc a gorgeous part
this piece was the closer for my marching band's show this past season (the 2012-2013 season) the opener was Ballet Mecanique by John Adams and the ballad was Leonardo Dreams of his Flying Machine by Eric Whitacre.
AMAZING job recording this! At max tempo, too, it seems! I can just hope my band pulls off the same miracle! All in all, amazing job, this recording is definitely going to help!
i was gonna post this video on youtube since alot of the other red machines sucked here. but you beat me to it...and for quite some time too. ah well...
yeah lol i played bass clarinet i was third chair but the thing was that i started practicing for it about 10 minutes before my audition so i have an excuse XD who are you and what did you play?
This song is inspiring me during quarantine.

まだこの曲に決まったわけではないのですが
やるからにはちゃんといい演奏がしたいです。

Very good job! I love playing this song. Not a huge fan of the acoustics in the room. Makes it a little too echoy.
I know how you feel. I'm going to be playing tuba.
dang that song was really 9 minutes? wow
doesnt feel like it.
i thought ours was better beacuse of the better lower instrument support
