Oh, and to further my objection to this obnoxious grip, one of my grandchildren has been going for drumming lessons for months and months, Right I said one day, show me what you have learned, into the match grip she went, here sat I expecting a bit of tinmpany, what do I get, out and out rhythmn drumming, these so-called drum teachers should all be shot, Ringorimshotripoffs, drummer teachers, as we said in the army, I've shit e'm.

Lovely, but look at them all, it is amazing how Benny's ensemble, with a fraction of the number could out-noise [sorry] them, I love to hear these latter-day recreations, what I do not like to see, in fact it immediately makes me leave the viewing, is any drummer using the match grip, this lazy excuse for a drumming grip is shown by Buddy Rich on a youtube posting, [Buddy could play a one-handed drum roll], the freedom to fully exploit the drums is immediately negated by the use of the match grip,, all the great drummers in history, [and I'm talking drummers here, not your Ringo's Baker's Moon's] but your Krupas,' Webbs', Toughs', Rich's, Roach's , truly great drummers, to us lucky enough know, and by default really enjoy.

this piece was the closer for my marching band's show this past season (the 2012-2013 season) the opener was Ballet Mecanique by John Adams and the ballad was Leonardo Dreams of his Flying Machine by Eric Whitacre.

They all look like they are having a fun time which is great, however I hope this isn't their schools show choir. This video poorly represents show choir. You need a choreographer and vocal lessons along with props and costumes. .

We are just breaking into this song medley in the Lake Charles Community Band in Lake Charles, LA for our next concert. In the last section, called "Manhattan Mayhem", one can visualize traffic in N.Y. as the horseless carraige was now in full control in the busiest city on the planet. The collection of songs is easy to play and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Very good job! I love playing this song. Not a huge fan of the acoustics in the room. Makes it a little too echoy.

I rremember playing this the summer either 2007 or 2008 at Cypress College with Mr Anthony conduction. A fun peice!
