I'm a neuroscientist and zoologist (comparative vertebrate neuroanatomy) and even though he's describing some fundamental concepts, how he describes it with his experience makes it like i'm hearing it for the first time...please more from this engaging and interesting gentleman

The human brain is fascinating, and terrifying. I have numerous mental disorders to vouch for the "terrifying" comment.
Function of brain is about the brain process of an observation, and then reflection and conclusion - in the end the conclusion go to the consciousness.

Guys shows Brain system as It Works but keep out how brains make up conscience . Neurosience never figure out How conscience system Works inside brain. Doctor keep out How brains figure out conscience system bacause he doesnt know.
It's pretty amazing how cocksure they are of themselves regarding their physicalist assumptions regarding consciousness, but have no working concept AT ALL of how consciousness is produced by the brain. They have no established, rational scientific theory AT ALL - and yet, any other alternative to their religious physicalist faith must be wrong. You can smell the biased bullshit miles away. This isn't science - it's a new type of religious fanaticism - that Kuhn deceptively pretends he is not trying to legitimatize.

He says a bit about it at the end to be fair. About where in the brain might have more to do with it.
Guys like him are as lost as any biology scientist.
But how are thoughts generated by pulses of electricity?
Or maybe they're generated by consciousness?
That's the question no physicalist has been able to answer yet. They can't even define the question in physical terms. And yet they will sit in their academic chairs and pontificate to you about how all consciousness is generated by neurons - without having a clue how this is possible. It's pretty remarkable - the amount of bullshit involved.

Then a function naturally stimulates other function.
By creating the "memory "function", any of the "electric pulse", "thought", "pre-hormone ", "hormone", "enzyme", etc function stimulates its precize equivalent "memory" function in a very fast natural full functional cyclical process.

Structure is not specifically function.
A brain and a walnut are both Mandelbrot complexes.
They do not have the same function.

If nature's intention was for us to understand how it functions and rectify its errors that cause all the evil (predation, disasters, diseases and death), in fact the best purpose of nature imaginable considering the existence of all this evil, then it coudn't have been so stupid to place the command center of all events in individual bodies.
On the contrary, what exists inside bodies of beings SHOULD NOT play any direct role in that process of command.
What matters should be the interactions among the 3 entities (the 2 types of beings, animals and humans, with their common sustainer PLANTS) with the single commanding center, THE CORE OF THE EARTH.
Brains, and all internal organs for that matter, then should only be displaced entities that require to be continuously replaced by the process of interacting with plants to access the CORE OF THE EARTH to rectify errors in the process there (in the core of the rarth) that cause all evil. A process that demands cooperation between humans, the designing RCD (Remote Control Device) of suitable plants for that rectification process, and animals, the implementing RCD that eat from those designed plants to influence the internal functions of the earth as planned by us.
The entire system (the mathemstical model of that mechanism) can be derived100% theoretically by linking events with only commonly known observstions about how plants grow, in combination with THE PARTICLE PHYSICAL CORRESPONDENCE PRINCIPLE that:
the 4 basic rules of arithmetic operations are the only natural LAWS OF MOTION, according to which the particles we call digits interact with each other in our minds, as corresponding to the same inside the core of the earth for development of plants on its own surface, to then deliver and sustain the 2 types of beings there.
Then analyzing bodies of beings and digging the earth become totally unecessary exercises, for with such a mathematical model we would be able to use the displaced entities, we now call minerals, while they are still inside the earth and get all our goods (vehicles, household, communication, building and industrial gadgets ) manufactured inside the earth itself and delivered through pants and waterbeds (oceans, lakes, rivers).
It should even be possible to get our food already cooked according to individal recipe and grown on plants as also all the furniture.
We must realize that the earth is the only vessel in the entire known universe that manufactures bodies inside its core and delivers to its own surface.
But, how do brains function?
Is there any singular form that has one, and only one, function?
Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is not function in the eye of the evolutionary survivor (organic being) or self-conscious dreamer (desirer)?
If a demon, with the will of a fallen angel, posessed a human body how would the demon behave? The same as the person who used to own that body behave, or something else? Would that demon try to behave as a demon but be blocked by the new body and brain? Could it speak? In what language? Could it fly?
Does the function deermine the form or does the form determine the function?
I suspect that form and function are separated by a gulf wider than human consciousness allows. That they may have nothing at all to do with each other except as imposed by human desire or survival.

At least they discovered synapses. That's farther than the non-scientists got in the previous 50,000 years.
The result of all those synapses, so their collective synchronized behaviour gives an imprint inside the electrical fields of the brain. Thats why we can these days scan those fields and translate them with some help of ai to thoughts. Meaning, the information is in the electromagnetic fields and consciousness has a direct link and relation with information in an Integrated state. So we might not know what is happening at each synaps, but for consciousnes you need ordered information, and synchronized an mass signal firing shares a collectieve electromagnetic field. So we can notice the collective outcome of these synapses, wich falls in line with our consciousness mental process.
@@blijebij You are able to map a correlation of the synapse activity to consciousness. But you have no working theory of how consciousness is produced by these synapses, and you do not know what is happening at each synapse.
There is no scientific evidence of any kind an electromagnetic field is able to produce conscious awareness (that I am aware of). And electromagnetic fields have been studied scientifically now for over a century. The property of electromagnetism is very well known scientifically.
So I don't know what you're saying here other than the obvious fact there is a correlation of brain states with consciousness. But this does not prove or demonstrate the brain produces consciousness.
Show me the science how electro-chemicals can cause a single human thought? Where is your scientific evidence - that you and physicalists like Simon Hibbs routinely claim but provide no scientific evidence other than mapped correlations any high school student could make with an MRI machine?

@@jamenta2 You interepretated me wrong. I reacted on your post. What i told is not my theory, its where the pioneers of neurology are at the moment. So it shows that there is a correlation between brain and consciousness. It does not state consciousness is created by the brain, nor have i stated that. It also doesnt tell what consciousness is. I just showed where the progress is for science at this moment. Is it progress? Yes it is. But thats all it is, its by far not advertising we know now how the brain works or what consciousness is or how it works. I hope this helps. Consciousness, and now we enter my personal believe, is the last frontier and not the Universe. As consciousness is a unique quality. I do not think this is the place to share all about it here. That is also not important. So I think consciousness is harder to solve then the Universe. If iam right in my perpective, consciousness is the highest form of information in an entangled, ordered state. If so, it is a virtual quality.

Does the car make speed & motion or the sense & feel of; has car made both the temporal & spactial, therefore distance in time & space; how does car make such forms or dynamics of itself; how has car made abstractions like place, destination, event, and therein the impulses that arise in perceptions & feelings.
There's the humane level of consciousness and then there's the cosmic conscious that is God.
The brain functions too in concord with its miliue. Brain doesn't merely function by itself and of itself, in itself. Like a car.

I also agree that the brain is fully responsible for the generation of consciousness, but the consciousness itself is a nonphysical property. Just like your mother gave birth to you and afterward you became a separate entity, such is the same for consciousness.
When I wrote this comment, I didn't write, _"This brain has no issues with ..."_ nor did I write, _"This brain also agrees that ..."_ My consciousness is the *"I"* in the phrase, *_"I have a brain!"_* and no physicalists / materialist has ever offered a satisfactory explanation for this self-referential phenomenon.
Because you are more than a brain. You have arms and legs and a liver and consciousness and an unconscious and digestion and everything. Your mind doesn't have a body - your body has a mind.
