That‘s one of the most painful results I experienced.. If anyone said that we would be dominating Europe and England now, I would‘ve laughed in their face
these videos are brilliant!! oOne thing I would really love to see is manager talking about a defeat. what they intended, what went wrong, what would they do differently etc.
Things might have turned sour towards the end but I think people forget the job Hughes did at Stoke. They'd bite your arm off now for 9th place in the PL, 3 seasons in a row playing attacking football.
Was and am a very big Hughes supporter. Shame how the players let him down towards the end at Stoke because we were so close to pushing on bar a few things. Doesn't deserve half the crap he gets. Hope he finds another job in the top flight, where he belongs :)
I maybe too late to comment about this, but I genuinely think that this is a fair reminder for my beloved Liverpool that no one should take any opponents lightly, especially where we are right now. Note: Damn, i remembered this match too well. Not taking the trophy + humiliation was too much for any fans
Geoff Cameron what a man. I'm an ex pat living in Rhode Island. I was walking my dogs years ago when Geoff had signed for us, I was wearing my Stoke City baseball cap.this guy walking towards me, said "Stoke city", stopped and said he knew Geoff personally very well and that was how he had heard of Stoke City. He tells me what a wonderful family, Goff and his family are. It did not surprise me. Any the guy who who I had the conversation with, lives the street behind me. Whenever he sees me he asks " do I still support Stoke?" I always tell him of course. Why wouldn't I regardless of which division. I never said this to him, but he kind of respected that when we got relegated. He's a Mexican guy who is very happy they've just won the Gold Cup. When I last saw him, I told that thought the US or Canada would win it.
I was devastated when Stoke replaced Pulis with Hughes. Not because I didn't want Pulis to leave but I thought Stoke had the opportunity to be bold and brave in dipping in to a pool of young European managers who were doing well in whatever league they were working in. I just saw Hughes has a notch up from Pulis, in that he was better known in the World of football and had links to other areas of the game. However, there was a period where Stoke were playing decent football, signing much better players than Pulis could and they were beating the best. Had Stoke shown the same ambition as Hughes then Stoke might still be in the Premier League. Their relegation was sealed when they failed the second time they tried to convince Marko Arnautović to stay at the club.
Hughes is good but I just don't understand why he decided to abandon the trio of Bojan Shaqiri Arnautovic, when this front three almost bring us to Europa League
It's a shame it all went downhill from there. He helped produce some of the best football I've ever seen at Stoke.

never thought I would live to see the day. #InFirminoWeTrust

Beating utd isn't master class
Nikola Nikolić unfortunately i agree😂😂😂
that was mostly emotional, not tactical - there was no way west ham would let themselves lose that game
I would love to see a cv stories trilogy with Mark Hughes I’m a big fan of his
It’s funny you say that...

Bruh Mark Hughes tell him to come back to stoke we need him
This man is so handsome and he’s aging very well. He’s a great role model.
Ah minggolé that brilliant keeper

The players wanted to leave stoke I think
Bojan did double ACL, arnautovic wanted to leave. He should have replaced them properly in the market though
I thought he was a DJ from the thumbnail
