Once I learned these could be parried... I found myself, still continuing hide in a bush for dear life. lol
He trick is to dodge their first attempt to grab you and bait a second one. The grab they do after running up to you seems to have a VERY small parry window, while the one they do while standing still is much easier.

@MrRat-69 I honestly forgot about the healing lol every boss except Malenia would lose but neither it or Malenia would die so stalemate there as for Malekith Destined Death I think since it doesn't have a target to hit it wouldn't put the effect

4 of them is an overkill
It is estyoidl if you do not let your protection be removed.
If you do the frenzy flame ending, potentially the world afterwards could be absolutely littered with these guys. So yeah, be glad that one elder hornsent stopped them from spreading and we only got to deal with less than a dozen rather than the potential thousand any surviving shardbearers have to deal with once you ascend to lord of chaos.
Would certainly be a cool modded challenge to see.

I guess they were constantly trying to locate the player position to warp to it but could not find it since they were locked on to the Bosses, so they ended up staring at them for the most part

If you parry them when they bring up the wand, you can riposte them and they'll be vulnerable to damage afterwards.

They can normally be damaged by friendly fire from boss mobs and enemy aoe. Nothing has been altered here.
Player damage doesn't affect them unless stance broken or parried.

DLC animations have a hard time showing up in the base game when it comes to weapon arts animations and enemy attacks. I find it lazy game design.
Also another thing. Why limit the Scadu Tree Fragment blessings to only the shadow realm? Let your community have fun with the older bosses and in pvp. 😂
Honestly now that the hype has worn off Shadow of the Erd Tree gets a 6/10. 😂
The blessing should NOT carry over into the base game. Especially since it near doubles your stats. I disagree with your opinions here.
The scadutree blessings were designed for DLC in mind, scadutree blessings change your scaling.
You have two different leveling systems you can use.
For the base game it will be runes and smithing stones.
If you had scadutree blessings in the base game you would just one shot bosses base game bosses with any DLC weapon making it unbalanced for those who want to try new DLC weapon and still have a challenge.
As for animations it can be a bug that will be patched simple.

Just take enough runes from DLC and use them to level up or use items to level your weapons instead.

These dudes have no idea how to fight giant enemies. They froze in the presence of Rykard and the Fire Giant and just gave up on moving and on life.
