This is racing! No matter what happens I LOVE it! I keep saying you need to experience everything but maybe I need to stop saying that hahahahah!
I was thinking on that bonnet, before you had some bonnet cam in the sim racing, project cars 2 i think it was. , and it has been fun if that happend in one cras if the bonnet hit your window like this. I hope you will have some better luck in next race. Thanks for one great video.
27:22 Crap!!!! Look at the small glass particles in the cabin ... Hoping Jardier didn't inhale this
Very possible but I dont think so! I feel alright :)
@@Jardier Why do these cars have no makrolon windows ? Because of near-production racing series ? But really nice content go on I really like it. Greetings from Austria
in the late 70's (I was about 7) my dad and I had that happen on a two lane 55mph highway - Tractor Trailer passed us going other direction - that wave of wind hit our truck and in a blink - nothing but hood.
Happened to me some years ago, doing about 80mph on the M6. Bonnet (hood in UK) decided to pop up. To say I shit myself would be a massive understatement! Managed to pull in to hard shoulder without incident. Kicked the windscreen out, secured the bonnet and continued on for the next 2 hrs with the heating up full blast and a hat, scarf and glasses on 😅
Ouffff thats scary mate!
I like the way you're exactly the same as in the sim. That's hilarious. Bonnet was a little unexpected. Well handled! Good luck for the next one.
Thank you! 🤩 im always myself mate! I have good and bad days but im always like this trying to have best time 😂😍
finally the crack in your windshield will be removed =D ( disturb me from the first race until now) sad for your result but heads up keep going Jadier greetings from germany
Hahah yes after FP2 I was like "damn my window is sooooo destroyed after I got shot by two rocks".... well little did I know I will have new one soon! :D
Still remember the scenes when everybody was checking out car after 2nd race. It is how it is, that's one of the pains of motorsport. Fingers crossed for Barcelona
your sponsor would be happy to know both me and my gf bought two ASUS gaming pc and we love it 😛
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh amazing!!!!!!
Apart for the amazing adventure you also got in shape which is just an added bonus. Good stuff bro!
With this energy, you will succeed, don't worry.
Good thing is that it wasn't driving error, but quite the opposite, Mr. Bonnet :D Anyway code brown of the best quality, I hope you had spare underware :)
Oh I learned from my driver error from saturday morning :D
Are hood pins allowed? That is one thing I feel, even in a production/stock class racing. ANY race car should have hood pins to help prevent this kind of thing from happening. It's also a BIG safety reason as all that glass was sent in the cockpit with your visor opened as well. Very easily can a small piece get in your eyes and cause major problems. Sucks that it happend though, running great.
Oh yes we have as every race car hood pins but one snapped in half 😭🫣
@@Jardier ahhh well that sucks even more hehehe
damn ! we’re all pushing for ya, go crazy in the next one bro, A win and pole position is bound
Thanks for posting these videos. Really entertaining👍 But man that must have been really scary 😬
Great content and keep up the effort mate!! It’s worth it, no matter the setbacks. Cheers from Australia!
Great video Jards. I’m really pleased you’re enjoying the racing 😎
it was really nice to discover this category this week-end :)
Great job keeping calm when the bonnet opened, and great video to watch, nice one
Even if u got unlucky in this race, that was a good one, Jardier!
Im really feeling good about your driving skills at this race.
Good luck on the next!
holy shit Jardier, your Workout is awesome. Looking mighty fine there
Thank you❤️👊
5:19 Romain !!
yikes
There's that sensation before the start of a real race that just cannot be reproduced with the sim. When you have the helmet on, dulling out the sound, and then the door gets closed and you are just alone at the start. No radio, no Jeff or head up display telling you where or what to do. You need to be on it to not mess anything up but also need the time to get into the zone.
100%! I LOVE IT!
As a musician, I know that feeling well, especially during orchestra auditions. You sit down on the empty stage, open your music, take a few breaths and go through the routine that hopefully you've developed in the several weeks to months leading up to this. Your body is screaming at you to run off the stage, your heart is pounding, nothing feels like it's in a comfortable position no matter how much you adjust it. There's a moment of *incredible* intensity where you can easily freeze up. You haven't totally committed to starting but you know you have to at some point. You just have to push through it. Trust your preparation and your equipment. You think of the music that comes before where you play, count yourself in and just... fall off the cliff. Whatever happens next is what it is.
Crazy bonnet! 😂❤
Great vid Jards bloody scary that bonnet , great to see Gabbie and June ❤
bad luck bro !
Its so weird that these Clios don't have the plastic windshields all around, I tought all race cars have that nowadays. Its not only safer in race cars but its a pretty big weight difference too.
Great Effort ;-)
Thank you! 👊🤩
The hood/bonnet/engine cover coming loose hinging back over and blocking the your view was a failure that you could not plan a reaction to. That made me think of the often used advice of "Expect the unexpected". That's an almost worthless phrase of advice. Infinite number of unexpected. I like the phrase "Plan for the worst and hope for the best". That's useful advice.
„there were so many pemalties..“ reminds me of mx 5 rookies 😂 … great video mate!
I can't believe they allow glass windshields! This kind of thing is an argument for why they should be polycarbonate.
Failures happens keep your head up man!
You're doing hella great
you did very good. just getting all the hard stuff done first
That's Racing , better luck next one . Great react for save the race for bro behind 👌👍👍👍🤞
Maybe Tape the Hood to stay closed before Start . Barcelona , can' wait for .... gogogo P 3 in class there
PUSHPUSHPUSH!
Pas normal à ce niveau là good luck pour les prochaines
klasické závodění, chaosu se nevyhneš ani kdyby jsi chtěl, sám to znám hlavně z R3E a škoda té kapoty
Ohhh my god.. scarey af.. glad your ok. Knowledge enough of where you were on track.... damage made bonnet catch fail.. so unlucky... mega drive otherwise.. boys got skills!!!
you're so based jar, you motivate me to get back into the sim everyday! thank you
did well not to crash after the bonet went up
Mate you are so amazing and I always enjoy watching your TH-cam videos and when you go live keep up the good work 😊
Thank you!
Always super interesting videos thanks
At the beginning of this journey you said that you were going to use the clutch when downshifting, to preserve the gearbox. Now it seems you don't do it anymore, is it right?
Still using the clutch 99% of the time! :) In some really short braking zones (first chicane) I was not using the clutch but otherwise yes :)
You did Good when things like that happen. you will get them next time 👍
Did the right mirror somehow unfold itself? How? 🔮
Yeah probably g forces🤣
I am a surprised that the wheels look like they are cast and not forged , i was under the impression that forged is much stronger , it might bend but never crumble
That was Mega !!!
Some mental work will fix the luck aspect. Learn from Bortoleto who won F2 Monza from last. He imagined the desired outcome and got it. That's how all the sages taught it for milennia.
No bonnet cam allowed Jardier. 😉 Glad you’re ok.
ahahah
Dang, I can’t believe the green car that went around survived with the remaining cars avoiding it! That could have been a field clearing event.
Yeah super lucky!
BRUUUUUUUUUUUH!
The slightest refining of your driving will get you top 10s. Just SEE it before you get there. Get used to being at the front wwith a Clio in the sim.
BANG !!! :D
reacted like a pro, you should be proud
Thank you!
I watched the first thirty seconds and already love the video!
Holy crap such a jumpscare! 😅
A BIT :D
your best lap is 2:01:13, Milan is 1:58:791 ! ouch ^^' Milan try hard too much on cliocup iracing for sure
huge gap for Magny Cours, but probably the damage
Lap was 00.4 but with broken car and in race, otherwise my best lap was 59,4 :)
@@Jardier 1:59:4 is top 5, nice ;)
So ~45k subs gets you a Ka, ~125k subs get you in to Clio Cup, oh and close to mil seems to be GT4 ;D
Not really I going through money I saved plus I have several partners helping me through it. I def do not recommend this
@@Jardier oh it was a joke, as there's been quite a few streamers/youtubers who have hopped from the sim to real, Basic Ollie in Kas, you in Clio, Jimmer/Mischa/SuperGT with their NLS project and Sueillo Almeida with his Radical xD
Which also reminds me of the classic joke/saying: "How to make a small fortune in motorsports?", "Start with a large one" :D
@@RetroGenetic hahah yes :DD
@@Jardier or like my dad likes to put it "In rallye the prize is a jig, and jigging (ice fishing) competition prize is a car", he drove in Finnish national Rallye in 70s, and was in support crews for other friends and also where I spent most of my childhood summer weekends :D
@@RetroGenetic haha thats epic man!
Two laps to go and, Jards gets DDOSsed 😂
haahhaha
5:58 did you lift off the throttle with the oversteer from force of habit?
No no we had to lift to the chicane every time to just throw the car there and using the off throttle to send it, but sometimes curb on left made you “wiggle” more :)
@@Jardier ahh understood
That's really unluck.
DANG! What are the chances of that? Super bizarre
More often than you would have thought in Clio cup :D
@@Jardier CRAZY!!
holy schmoly
The Clio decided it needed some additional downforce.
Is clutch automatic in this car?
Shit the bed!
unlucky

Do not play the "guys" drinking game, not even with water.
Costly incident only 10 seconds into the race! Windshield, rim and maybe bonnet replacement? 😥 I think it's a good idea for you to branch out beyond ACC to get more subs. 130k is probably tapping the max out of ACC content. RL damage is too real!
Do yall think this scrambled him a bit and that's how come he couldn't understand the ACC Steam numbers he was going on about
Can't park there mate!
Brilliant content Jards, I really enjoyed that & was on the edge of my seat...Luck will change & the results will follow...🫡😉
Lets go!
