This is my theory from the short anime film, "Shelter". The girl named Rin has the tablet which can control everything, but then one day when she didn't draw anything on the tablet, a town/street appeared, then she saw a little girl, let's skip, so on the girls birthday, she got a teddy bear. In the start of the video there was a teddy bear in the corner, so we know that this is the same girl. Then the dad saw on a satellite camera that another planet was going to hit Earth, so then he started building a pod for her daughter, the pod could only carry one person so the dad got left behind. He did that so Rin can be the only human left, he programmed the tablet to send a message on her birthday and showed her what really happened. In the end, it showed a 17 year old girl with wires in her, this was because her dad programmed the thoughts and everything in her mind. The pod won't stop until it reaches a planet. This matches the levels of the likes of Scarborough Fair, honestly the combination of these two songs were done so extremely well! The harmony was blended, I also like how you focused on one melody at a time to prevent any unnecessary incompatibility of the two songs, this is a lot better than the two songs played individual because it seems so delicate :D Also the time of the piece is at such a perfect tempo >O
Whenever I work or play games it's very hard to play when I have music in the background. I have found that this is one of the ONLY songs that I can listen to while multitasking which keeps me concentrated and it always keeps me motivated (somehow). So, thank you! Totally using this song as inspiration for a spin-off I’m writing from an original scifi trilogy.
Existential conflict between a fourteen-year-old girl who slept for 2000 years as the radiant power core for a Tower housing the last of humanity. She wakes up to find humans ready to explore their changed world. She goes with them, finding the planet so changed and steering clear of the same powers that put her in a coma, but saved humanity.
Enter an AI, which was closely linked to the girl to run the Tower. It panics that humans are leaving, putting themselves in danger. The AI builds itself a body from used parts, Augments left behind by dead humans, to leave the Tower and bring the girl back. It doesn’t understand the human drive to discover, only its programming to keep them safe.
