The melody in the intro especially at 1:09 is taken a bit from Madeon - Technicolor, and later on they introduce the Shelter melody as well. Porter Robinson and Madeon really are geniuses.
Porter Robinson & Madeon never fail to deliver quality songs. I don't know what it is about Shelter that makes it so wonderful and joyous, perhaps it's the addicting "what the fo" lyric that always gets me, or it's the relaxed sound combined with the lyrical slicing that makes a great balance. Who knows?
The beginning is really awesome. When you've got a headset on, it sounds like you're in a hospital room and that you wake up in an upper world. It's kinda hard to describe... It's a bit like waking up of an inception dream..

Porter Robinson was by far the best live show I've ever seen. I saw him 2 years ago and didn't really know his music at the time except for the Spitfire album which was so much different compared to the 'World' one. The show completely blew me away. Gorgeous light show and splendis melodical music. My favorite artist ever since.
