HAHAHAHAHAH.. it would be amazing to see neon cities and maybe after the sun dies that we had an artificial one and had flying cars that would just go on a straight path so they don't crash and they're so smart that they're self flying and never crash

The synths have this warmth that wraps around you, like memories from a perfect summer evening you can’t quite place but can still feel. It’s peaceful but also slightly bittersweet, as if it’s reminding you of something beautiful that's just out of reach. I’d probably sit back, close my eyes, and let it carry me through old memories and daydreams, feeling both relaxed and reflective. It’s like time slows down, and for a few minutes, you’re in this serene, timeless place.
This song is like driving with no destination and not a care in the world just having fun without even thinking just kicking back and relaxing with friends or yourself vibing.
Many years ago, I commented on this exact video after finding this amazing song. At the time, I tried to write a deep and philosophical comment, but for late 2010s me, that was impossible and came out as pretty terrible. Now, that comment is gone, and this new one takes its place. After listening to this song countless times, I've realised why it's so nostalgic; It makes me nostalgic for those warm summer nights, staying up late without a care in the world, it meant being outside at 2am wandering the streets for no good reason other than because. It meant watching the summer sun sink below the houses and colour the skies with it's afterglow. For years now, I've been trying to capture that feeling again. Maybe one day, life will be like that again, or maybe it'll be better than before.
I actually think it matches the 2010s pretty well. This decade is at the crossheirs between the late 1990s and 2000s and the future of the 2020s/2030s.
I had a spiritual awakening around the time I first heard this song. Life has been different since that moment. It always takes me back to the beginning of that era
This song feels like an old friend, who you rarely talk to since you both have your own lives and stuff to do, but it feels nice to catch up with eachother once in a while.
For the longest time I had this song playing on my speaker every morning for several months after a really bad breakup. It gave me the strength I needed to get myself out of bed, get dressed and start the day. I had it timed so perfectly that by the end of the song I'd reach my bedroom door and be out the door to get my mail and head out for the day. The entire time while doing all that I'd reflect on my happiest moments, milestones in my youth and the things I had to look forward to. It's amazing how much music can save someone at their weakest point, I hope others who dealt with similar things get by. You matter too and life still goes on, don't let the good times end and keep on going.
Great words. We can’t let the negatives in this life bring us down. Life is so spontaneous and beautiful, always look forward to the unknown and next adventures, blessings 💙
there's something else this song gives off, not just nostalgia, sadness, or any of those other feelings. I feel like this song is its own feeling itself.

this song is a culture. so many people have been touched by this sound. we all probably come here between 10pm - 3am. this song truly does bring everyone together and with us together we speak of reminiscing and nostalgia. this song and community is more than a work of art
This song was made in 2014?? This is way a head of its time. It also reminds me of my best memories I’ve had in the past and very recent ones. This song feels like heaven!
@@coolestloser5341 On the night before my day off work, go home change into something comfortable, get in my car, put my phone on full do not disturb, drive to the highway loop, and play this first from my relaxing playlist then drive for awhile or a full loop. @@arxalier2956 And it all happens in the mind. Or the soul should I say? And that's why I think that is the final frontier... For understanding what we really are
@@arxalier2956 Its more incredible and beyond of anything you could explain in words. Sound is what you are describing that air vibrations that are percibed by our ears which inside are transformed into electrical signals that our brains gives an interpretation of what we had listened to but music to me is more than just sounds with an order that is satisfying the mathematical way to work of our brains. Music to me is the way to feel the universe and the existence itself. Music is all: mathematics, physics, biology, sociology, art, life, death, everything in the existence are vibrations from radiation to matter. We are vibrations the universe is music, we are music.
I have played this song so much, almost every day and sometimes just keep on repeat the 1 hour version IYKYK. Knew this was going to blow up one day ! The entire Odyssey album is amazing!
It technically is. Well it could. If this was ever played on a radio frequency it would reach the farthest reaches of space. Science is literally what we all have searched for. Ironic? No.
I can’t believe this song was released in 2014. I’m pretty sure i was still in high school. I’m 28 now. Yet, I still recall first listening to Home - Resonance in 2016 and i feel even more nostalgia after playing this again in 2024! Time flies man, you could be making your fondest memories right now and you don’t even know it yet.
I am a Russian who lives in Kazakhstan, under this track you probably will not find my compatriots, but I am still glad that people from all over the world are still listening to this masterpiece of retrowave, which unites "us", dreamers who want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere neon night where this music is playing everywhere. Thank you Home for giving the dreamers new colors. Sorry for my english)
First I head this song was around 2017 or 2018. By that time, I had moved and stayed in a city far from my hometown for about a year already. I had to leave my friends and family, had to learn the culture and their language, had to make new connections. I had managed, but I felt like I was still clinging on to my old life too tightly; it was hard for me to let go. Listening to this song that one late afternoon for the first time made me realize that it's good to feel nostlagic every once in a while, but I inevitably have to move forward. I'd like to think that this song really made me mature and it helped me process what I was feeling during that time. Hearing this song now always takes me back to that time, when I was on the precipice of the past and the future; a time that I was clinging so hard to, and a future of limitless potential

I really think the 90s nostalgia is more powerful because it’s the last era before the internet. The internet changed the world more than anything in previous human history. The 80s and early 90s were the golden era of the last century, and shit seems to be going downhill this century lol. I know the song came out in 2014 but everyone seems to agree it’s got an 80s-90s vibe
I can at the very least, hope that in some way, the styles of future decades will mirror their counterparts from a century before. In short, I hope the 2080's look like the 1980's.
@@bungscrung3337 Honestly, as much as I might wish for this, the world is taking a path that suggests it will be a far different place by the time gen z have reached retirement, let alone getting into their 70s 80s and 90s. For all we know, maybe fallout isn't that far from the truth. Only time will tell. And by then, I doubt youtube will even be a thing, and if it is, this video won't be there, it may have been re-uploaded, or lost to the sands of time. As for us? We will have forgotten that we ever made these comments or will forget about the song when we lose the playlist it was in and be reminded of it by some bar in some city of mirrors, and we will try to find it again, and maybe even see our old comments. That is not for us mere mortals to know, its not our place. What happens will happen, whether or not that's what we wanted from life.
Fuck it’s so insane to me how literally everyone feels the same about the song. Music is so amazing I thank god we still have great music being made like this
This song is the equivalent of being sat in the back of your parents car moving to a new location at night time watching the world go by as you slowly drift into a sleep where you have a great dream.. to those reading this. Stay strong, stay safe, love you all, have a great day. And you have a great taste in music.
When the world ends, hopefully this can play in the credits.

Hello people from the past, pls respond if you this
First I head this song was around 2017 or 2018.
Hearing this song now always takes me back to that time, when I was on the precipice of the past and the future; a time that I was clinging so hard to, and a future of limitless potential

this song hurts me.. too deep of nostalgia knowing that i will never be a little kid again..
Damn,
yea it hurts me too, but it kinda heals me to thinking of how relaxing it was.
