The planning behind these expansive almond orchards is a testament to strategic agriculture.
I have fond childhood memories of my grandfathers house with numerous almond trees.
In Afghanistan specially North parts there are wild Almonds and pistachios trees in and around valleys but wars destroyed many production of values. Suffering and suffering. Not sure what war makers benefit from destroying nature?
Have you been to those almond farms?
During 1984 I was suffering in and around those valleys of Samangan and Baghlan in the North along with my family members escaping horrors of war and we were digging the pistachios roots for to burn for fuel. My father said to me that thousands of wild pistachios trees were on those mountains during King Zahir Shah. The king government on a specific date allowed people to pick the pistachios for themselves for free but the wars destroyed many millions trees and gone, no other sources of fuel? And also my father told me that hundreds of different birds were nesting inside forest of pistachios and I seen myself wild almond trees many on those valleys but bitter not sweet.

That's true! Almond trees are an important source of nectar and pollen for honey bees, and almond orchards can be a critical habitat for these important pollinators.
@@tony98discovery What are you talking about? There is no habitat here for pollinators. It's all sterile mono cropping. These farmers are destroying the soil capital with their practices. The soil is dead. There's no soil biology, and they've depleted the soil carbon thus its moisture-holding capability.
