Wait is that striping powder is Cyanide the deadly poison that also use to disolve gold? I never see people strip gold really easy like this, they often burn this and wash with nitric acid to remove silver and copper.

@@PickyPlans you can do a test, pyrolizing can be done with your small furnace, just heat the shredded motherboards into crucible, you can add an iron tube above the top hole of the furnace and make some conductions to make smoke cool down, after finish mix your fluxes with the shredded pyrolized motherboards in the crucible and smelt.
@@ayhamhafez285 Do you need to test this. The process is quite straight forward.. just make sure to heat the stuff high enough to ensure a full decomposition, or you'll poison the surrounding.
Lead doesn’t “stick” to iron, lead oxide on the other hand “chews” through it, it does the same thing with stainless steel only more slowly. So it really depends on what are you going to use the crucible for. For melting lead iron is perfect, but for oxidising SS will last longer especially in alkaline medium.
Once, I poured 40 kg of molten lead from a cupellation furnace into an iron bowl serving as the mold (Charge temperature was 700° C). However, upon cooling, I found the lead adhered to the mold, akin to soldering. To retrieve it, I had to remelt the lead. Consequently, I began applying graphite powder to "Blacklead" all iron molds thereafter.
Very good, but I think it's to much energy wasted on to little material. High grade material or larger scale would be good But you are really good at what your doing.

After watching this video,I believe that you still lossing your gold.Total weight of silver when you add at beginning and weight at the end will count the losses of gold.
The yield is fair enough for about 8 kg of motherboards and a few pieces of PCbs. i used 28 grams silver at start. Few mg lost in the process, besides there is no correlation between silver losses and gold losses. Take look at Bugbee's text book.

Another nice video, try to pyrolyze mother boards and smelt for copper yield
Thank you, my friend. I'm on the same page. However, I believe I'll need a large-scale pyrolysis setup beforehand.

Can I use iron pot as Crucible?????
It's not a good idea
Lead would stick to it.
Use non-magnetic stainless steel.

Would it be a good idea to have a conical scorification dish and let it settle in it rather than pour it into a conical mould?
It's a good idea... I think you will have less surface area to wash materials in lead.
