bravo. was one of those games with a soundtrack that embedded itself in my head back in the day, amazingly reproduced. mastertronic and rob hubbard ftw!
just want to say a massive thanks to the performers and whoever arranged all this. such a wonderful event, something i really wish i could get to see someday. some of the sections sound utterly gorgeous...helps when you have solid gold tunes to start wth of course :D
@axel1973w I did. I firmly believed that one day in the future people would realize how well composed these tunes were and make orchestrations of them, or even use them for commercials. How right I was.
Kurwa aż ciarki przechodzą po plecach... Płyta kosztuje w Amazonie 28dolców, a żaden sprzedawca nie chce wysłać do Polski. Jeśli ktoś to ma i chce odsprzedać, to ja chętnie odkupię.
brilliant post mate, i hate all that techno shit as well, its all just the same cheesy crap. i may upload a guitar cover of this tune sometime to go with the rest of my old computer game covers...
@inphanta When you say "bargain basement beats," I assume you mean a novice remixer's unprofessional first attempts at creating something resembling a song, and not remixes done by noteworthy individuals?
This was my absolute favourite tune on my C64, I loved playing it while waiting for Ghostbusters to load on the old Mastertronic games.
I love this song, good performance too! It's good to hear old chiptunes expanded in such a way.

Brilliantly done and goes to show great tunes are always great tunes regardless of origin.
This is something that's really nice and nostalgic to listen to. I wish I had this arrangement on a CD...or at least as an mp3 file.

Great work, conjures up a very hitchcockian vibe!
