Crapjam - Doing Fine | Meppel | Diets Dijkstra | Johan

Crapjam with the videoclip for "Doing Fine", from their 1998 album 'Solo'. Rare footage as well of their last interview with the band members before breaking up. Guitarist Diets Dijkstra joined Johan on bass, just in time to record their all-time classic 'Pergola' (2001). Crapjam (Meppel, Drenthe) was a promising alternative Dutch band during the 90s, led by songwriter and drummer Peter Dijkman...

The C64 orchestra plays Monty on the Run by Rob Hubbard | Commodore 64 Friday september 22, 2006 | De Gigant Apeldoorn This awesome, timeless piece of music composed by Rob Hubbard was performed by the C64 orchestra, back in 2006. Obviously filmed with a potatoe, but hey! Was amazing to be there and witness the show, a very cool initiative done with love and passion for computer music / game so...

Hmm, Ted Toleman, what can one say about a man who sets up a race team and then does not pay his staff after they built the car for him. And then runs off to Aus leaving everyone high and dry. Often wondered what his resolution with the British tax authorities was
✌️🤠💥🌟🌀👍
Great to see all the boys, Some sadly no longer with us.
Love it thx
A year later, same spot, the whole world of Toleman changed. On the plus side, Toleman had in 84 a boy called Senna doing miracle at the rainy Monaco. On the minus side, Senna’s insistence in having Michelin tyres dumping Pirelli ahead of Monaco 84 burnt the bridge between Toleman and Pirelli and when Michelin pulled out of F1 at the end of 84 Toleman was left with no tyres forcing Toleman to shut down and only saved by Benetton take over. Senna, a blessing and a curse for Toleman in the coming year.
Love seeing new to me 80s F1 footage 👍
I'm working in a Metroidvania-like based in "Cybernoid", called "Exonoid (Ceccovania)". It's my tribute to Raffaele Cecco. For Windows, Linux, Android and Browser. Gameplay and menu videos in bitmagine Studio's TH-cam channel (also videos of most of my games and projects).
Loved it ! Thanks for posting.
Jeroen had an entire orchestra in his mind when composed this
Excelente muy bonito!! I miss my old C64... Saludos desde Perú !!
>_> Wonderful execution, but I don't like the interpretation. I mean... It sound's like Zelda, or Final Fantasy. Absolutely not as Cybernoid. Still, great music and great performers!
I was there, and have a higher quality recording of this if anyone is interested!

Шедевр!
Anyone else imagining Ron Burgundy on the Jazz Flute!
I like this. I can only imagine the negative comments are due to the poor recording not capturing the essence. Not that I'm complaining, it's nicer to have some recording than none. Also I like the guy behind the camera adding the 'neoooow' at the start.
My god that was painful to listen too, it need adapting not just straight trying to play it.
Terrible.
Beautiful.
horrid. c64 much better.
Autism
this one deserves a really biiiig orchestra !
Just Perfect !!!!!!!!!! Bravo
I believe it's the limitations that brought out the greatness in old videogame compositions. Nowadays, there are no limitations, and these old tracks are looked back upon fondly.
Loving that Hubbard's work is now taken more seriosly than just being game music. His music truly deserves attention.
Enjoyed this much. Love Rob Hubbard's work. Imagining this pieace was written for 3 mono "synthtracks" for starters and still sounded so great and alive.. It shows you don't need much resources to make great music, and that this may inspire instead of limit you. To be a Genius is to make great use of *what you have*.
where could I get the music sheet for violin pls ?
was? he still lives.......
Awesome.
Better than Philip Glass - Koyaanisqatsi
pretty good
The Devil's Gallop?
@inphanta Okidoki, thanks :)
I wish that there was a professional recording made of this... Without the background noise.
This version is almost Elfman/Boingo'ish. It's awesome.
0:30 O_O
The best original music for any game composed. EVER. (Although Rob did slightly crib the main riff from Dick Barton Special agent, but we can forgive him that.)
I prefer the original SID, but congratulations to the performance, it was very nice...
Wow, that's fantastic. Sounds great. And so great to hear Rob Hubbard is having his hand in this great work. Magicians. Good work everyone!
Very nice.
They should do Master of Magic.
@inphanta When you say "bargain basement beats," I assume you mean a novice remixer's unprofessional first attempts at creating something resembling a song, and not remixes done by noteworthy individuals?
Great work, conjures up a very hitchcockian vibe!
Is there a link where we can get those orchestra songs from? :)
some of the finest classical music of our time. how ironic.
Now I realize how much Love & Devotion JT put into this.
