i guess u have gotta be a c64 fan @ one point in time to enjoy this, i would say it was quite creative for on their part,,,,yeah it might have been hard to see or go through this if ur not familiar with the origional game
From Metallica Capellas to C64? Ones not sure if they are my thing, but great to see tributes like this. I also believe the main melody is without doubt ripped from R.Sakamoto's film score for Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence yet R.Hubbard takes the credit for the song.

As much as I respect the work of Ron Hubbard, I have to say that certain parts of "International Karate" are a shameless rip-off of "Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence" from Ryûichi Sakamoto! Nevertheless, all of Hubbards tunes are some kind of a soundtrack of my childhood...
You're absolutely right (about parts of IK are stolen from Sakamoto). But did you know that the music of "The Way of the Exploding Fist" (main title) is not for note part of the chinese repertoire ?
