POKEMON UNITE RANT! Exposing Toxic Players Who Forfeit Matches For Fun (Bad Team & Worst Game EVER)

- I have seen some really bad players in #PokemonUNITE so far, but I never saw someone who purposely forfeited a match and trolled the team with message spam while doing it.
This was the strangest game I have ever played, and I really hope that Pokemon Unite figures out a way to prevent players like this from affecting the experience of everyone else trying to enjoy the game. This was the worst experience I have ever had playing Pokemon Unite since the game launched. What made it worse was there is no way to report this person adequately. I think it may have even been multiple people in the match but it's hard to tell.
At 6:30 you can see the Wigglytuff not supporting me while I go for the boss. Instead it decides to go solo against the enemy team inside their base. After that fails in a 1v3 situation against the enemy team the Wigglytuff Intrepid42 decides to quit playing the match and troll everyone with message spam the rest of the match.
Sadly this affected my team mates and they scored almost no points and many of them voted to quit the match. I almost think they were trolling as well but I think they just got caught up in the heat of the moment like I did. I'm the only one who stayed focused on the bosses and attempted to win the game. I managed to snipe Zapdos amazingly, but you won't believe what happens next...

Same. Uninstalled a few nights ago. Nothing is getting better and this would be an easy issue to fix too. How can they allow players to remain in the base the whole match and attack the wall and get away with it since game launch? So toxic.

When I don’t play in a team with my sister, I feel like I’ve forgotten how bad other ppl sucked because I can confidently say I carry the team majority of the time.

as someone whos a speedster main, i always get players who either steal my buffs and farm to the point i was under fed, unable to do good dmg or get 1-3 players who go afk after autopicking attackers. which made me have a hard time trusting people who play attackers like pikachu
in standard matches or when im with friends, i dont get these and we win a lot, but in rank its a whole different story

Yes I agree. All of these are needed. It should put in a cpu as soon as people go afk or stay in the base for too long during the match.

@@JonnoPlays they did it now (luckily). Here’s the fair play points rule:
90-100 points= Daily fair play points award receivable(20 Aeos coins)
80-89 points= Fair play points award not receivable
60-79 points= Ranked match ban
0-59 points= Random match ban(can only play on CPU mode after you get 60 points or more)
@7398 ALEXIS Also, he didn't steal jungle early. The jungler should be able to go through it once without any issue and then the rest could go and get some exp. The whole point of the jungler is to get the team an early lead, that's it. What else was he supposed to do, let himself get farmed on by the nine tails until it's several levels higher? No, you go and start getting some exp. He did nothing wrong, that wigglytuff got tilted for no good reason especially when it's garchomp was doing great.
This keeps happening to me, idk if ppl are paying other ppl to lose, but it's always a Bulbasaur that follows you everywhere and steals your camps, doesn't fight back and just sits around otherwise. Makes me rage too
Agreed my friend. I don't get it except there are people who want to play but they're bad so rather than admit they're bad and try to get good they're just acting bad and playing that way on purpose. I feel like these are really bored kids or something. Idk cuz the game is free you know? And it's new now... I just don't understand that mentality at all but I'm trying to

I've picked up Wiggly these past few days and one of the things I do for fun is zoning by overextending. Makes a good distraction while my teammates are securing an objective or scoring goal. Then just sing away and go back to base like nothing happened. 😅 So the Wiggly here is like me, except I don't throw the game away just coz I wasn't backed up in a tight spot I put myself in.

I think she raged at 6:27 because you didn't help when he got the sing off and the when she ulted. that doesnt excuse her to be toxic in that behaver. So in her head means you ignored me so I ignored you.
I also understood that, but they were over extended in a 1v2 battle against the enemy. They should have been backing me up instead of trying to solo two enemies. There's no reason to extend into enemy territory especially by yourself. They lost a 1v2 while over extended just like anybody would lose it every time. Wigglytuff isn't even a strong attacker I don't know why they didn't just hold back with me and work on the boss.
But yes you're right that was the moment they went bad and that was the reason why. I don't disagree. Just think that their behavior alone shows they weren't every going to play correctly.

Something like this happened to me three times in a row
First,my whole team was in base not moving and they weren't afk either
Then these people trolled after a win by surrender while we had 800 and they had like 200
It's the worst experience in the game imo
This happened to an enemy team last year, they were in the lead and then they surrendered. I wasn't even happy about the win, more like confused.
I have gone from Veteran level 3 down to expert level 5 by losing all the games played in a row due to people that don't know how to play ranked or run lanes. Just pure awful I'm even thinking of playing anything Pokemon related because you always have to depend on other people.

Jonno Plays was the Garchomp in THIS match.
I think I was part of someone's crappy experiment yesterday. 3 AFKs until the 2 minute mark. Well, one started to lane, made it like half way down the lane and turned around. At 2 mins they ran out to grab farm to level and ran straight for Zap. So frustrating. Kind of Hilarious.
That's insane. Definitely a dumb experiment. People keep saying there's no point to even play until zapdos. That kind of logic is really dumb.

What would be good would be if there is some kind of system that could look at how each player plays and group them depending on skill.
They already did an update which does exactly that. I quit shortly after that update because matchmaking got even worse. They announced this ok their official Twitter.
I've played quite a few Pokemon unite matches in solo queue. And I'm seriously considering uninstalling the game. There's just no way I can control the outcome of the game when my fate is tied to four other random people ☹️
I uninstalled the game and I've never been happier. The game is bad and the devs don't care to fix it. It's sad but it is what it is. Game has been out a long time and they don't fix this issues and simply dance around them or ignore them instead. No reason to punish yourself bro. Just let it go and find a better game to play.
With the right build garchomp can solo any of the Boss Npc Pokémon like zapdos regigigas or avalugg mainly doing a ton of damage with just basic attacks
Yes exactly. People say Garchomp isn't part of the meta but Garchomp can solo zapdos very quickly and zapdos is very important I think we would all agree. I think Garchomp is just underutilized. With the right item build and team support it is an unstoppable beast.

Ok. So I've been playing solo queue ranked all the way from beginner. Currently in on expert 5 and I get nothing but these kind of teammates. I feel your pain man
It's why I quit playing. The developers don't care about user experience at all. It's like they don't even play their own game or do any testing.

That's literally only one of the reasons the game is bad. This isn't even the main reason I quit, balance issues, too much stun, zapdos is too powerful that you're basically guarantee to win, those piss me off even more than people quiting.
Agreed! I quit months ago and I'm so glad I did. The game was making me rage and I never like to feel that way especially over a silly game. The devs don't even play the game apparently because these issues are plainly obvious to anyone in solo queue matches. This would have been a good game but they totally ruined it by not having fair and balanced gameplay that can't be ruined by trolls in game.

People want to have fun, not get mad because they're stun locked to death or have all their work in the beginning half go to waste just because the severely losing team gets Zapdos and win. Just the other day, I post a comment on a Pokemon unite videos listing all my gripes about the game and why I don't play it anymore, only to get flooded by "guess you never played the game before" or "full heal duh!" Or the typical"Git Gud." But of course, none of them bothers to give some good advice or know what the heck they're talking about. How they could be so delusional and think the game is fair and balanced when Gengar, nine tails, Cinderace, and wigglytuff exist still boggles my mind to this day.

I saw someone do this a year back when the game was starting out. I was playing Gardevoir at the time before I started maining Tsareena (I friggin' love using that Pokemon). A guy kept spamming "over here" for about a minute and a half before just sitting at the home base. He eventually just bailed from the team. Unfortunately for us we were all real players and weren't in a bot match, meaning that our team lost...badly.
If you're in a bot match they will all be bots even your team mates. Also "over here" wasn't in the game at the time of launch neither was gardevoir or tsareena so maybe it happened more recently than that. Anyway best of luck with the game. I quit playing because of toxic stuff like this happening every time I play and the developers doing nothing about it.
@@JonnoPlays you're misunderstanding. I'm very well aware of bot matches and how to spot yourself in one. I honestly don't care about the correct text used, but one of them was used regardless of the match since I was there. I never once said I was in a bot match nor did I specify the exact date this happen. It was within the year the game released right after Gardevoir came out. I played a match using that Pokemon when that all happened. Don't forget that Gardevoir came out not too long after the game released cause the devs know that Pokemon is a huge favorite. All players, both enemy and ally, were real players, not bots.

I have the SAME problem. Stuck in Expert rank for THREE MONTHS...Players EXPECT me to be their SCAPEGOAT and then BLOCK me for putting in the MOST points/KOs (not GETTING KOed!!).

I just lost a 1v5 today, all teammates afk, something like 130 to 1500! I couldnt even report cuz they were moving around in base! Such people!
Just this morning I was one match away from veteran, literally one. All the matches leading up to that point were competitive and fun, teammates responding accordingly, we didn't fight over farming and buffs, we take one for the team if it provides an ally a window to score and so on. During this match, there was a pikachu and a hoopa. While trying to farm with, pikachu kept coming out of nowhere stealing everything, and hoopa was fucking useless, I told him to retreat and he got clapped by the bird. I was attacking the rotom and I needed backup, no one responded. We had a defender that couldn't defend and was trying to be a speedster and all that. It got so frustrating, I fell from expert 5 to 3 after that. Not opening the game until next week. 😂
Defender trying to play speedster role is so toxic. I'm glad I quit this game because it doesnt appear to be getting any better.
What I'm completely sick of is getting on a team where 2 or 3 people score absolutely zero goals and only have 3 or 4 ko's if this game was simply to knock out opposing pokemon we'd be great. But its not it's team based objective scoring. I think they need a limit on how many times you can use the commands per game as well.
I totally agree. People spend the whole time engaging in fights and never bother to score after they win the fight. I literally have no idea what they think they're doing but they probably think we're the ones who made them lose at the end sadly.

Especially for a talonflame if others don't score sometimes it gets really hard even for me to score. The reason they score points btw when they're trolling is so you can't report them. If they score it shows they weren't afk.

Glaceon player was mad that I was leveling up. He saw me getting attacked and did nothing. He celebrated me getting KOed.

I can’t stand when I’m trying to go to jungle and these braindead talonflame mains spam retreat. Talonflame isn’t even a jungle main and I was playing as garchomp. After I took all the kills the talonflame player left the match. Such a trash matchmaking game I’m getting sick and tired of these toxic 2 year olds.
Yes I agree. This is happening too much and the devs are doing nothing about it. It's gotten so bad that I just uninstalled the game. Way too toxic player base and the devs won't do anything to improve the experience of people who actually like playing the game.

I went ko once or twice in top Lane at the beginning of a random match and my partner Lucario had it out for me for the rest of the game. Spamming in chat that I needed help every 1-2 minutes.
The player base of this game is toxic unfortunately. Also the devs don't seem to want to do anything to prevent this behavior. Many easy solutions exist like if someone uses the same communication over and over why wouldn't they just limit the number of times they can use it? Easy fix yet they don't do it. The same goes for people who sit in base and attack the wall the while game. It would be easy to report them if the devs actually took the issue seriously but they don't. I've quit this game due to the devs not taking fair gameplay seriously.
There is something I want to say, I'm going to be honest, Players will never learn to share points with their teammates, they just steal them from you, it's a real shame on them, also players going all together in one space to goal while the opposing team defend their goal, So sad about them, also absol, gengar and talon flame are too op, its sad that they won't nerf the characters, maybe they did but I never knew about it, the thing that also upsets me is that players use their unite move only on one person, I just cannot stand these people doing these thing, this game will never change, I'm starting to hate this game, for those who have done these things, well its a shame on you, but I can't stop you from doing it, so I'll have to accept that 😔 Sorry for the misspelling
Simple solution : Just quit playing this game. It's what I did and it was a massive improvement to my mental health and overall gaming experience. There's much better pokemon games. If you're looking for a free pokemon game to play try Pokémon Quest
Ok, so, here is my story, I just bought Garchomp (cuz he's my favorite dragon), ok, the match was almost over, I had 50 points to make, there was a guy with a talon flame coming with me THEN HE SUDDENLY HAVE GONE TO THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION, like man, you could have helped me to make points faster, and then the Dragonite of the opposite team came and killed me. We still won, but man, that was not cool.

The dangerous things developer should know are, the serious player need tobe match with a good player either, and do an awesome play 5vs5. Even if it losing, it lose with high respect. And gather the toxics all together, in toxic match. That's a win win, there's no way for expert player to carry any of toxic player, like this wiggly. Feel sorry for you,man. And alot of players feel the same.

I've been having that problem too. But my main problem w most players, is it just seems like most r tryin to lose, ruin, sabotage their team purposefully?! Cause for players to b @ ultra or above rank n play like they've never played before n don't understand a MOBA?! I don't get it... Solo queue is BIG problem I feel too. N it's worse then we think, especially for the future of this game. Maybe need to penalize players more severely for it. But that can b a problem too. I REALLY enjoy this game but this is BEYOND frustrating most of the time... I've had 2 random players on my team leave early mid game 3 times n a ROW n solo queue! FOR REAL?!

The rank match is useless. Yes. Hate this game so much. The worst experience ever. The people jungle all the way and feed. Not rotating bot for boss. The defender plays solo top. When zapdos appear all want back door. In the end we lost 3 players lost zapdos and they cleared both lanes. After i got back few months later still the same. Just delete the game. The players here got no total sense what they doing. Once in awhile we have people who afk.
I deleted the game months ago. Best decision I ever made. The developers have no idea how to create a fair and fun experience for single players

Some guy picked jungle everyone agreed than he proceeds to take the xp from the top lane so I moved to jungle and than he switches to jungle to steal my xp than I move back to top lane because he left than he went to bot lane to steal some xp from our teammate there and than he proceeds to totally completly suck in the game. Everyone was pissed some guy from bot even quit. People like this really should not play team games.

Surrender when its a clear lose don't surrender if its a win and ppl think thry can make a comeback but the enemy team gets zap alr and its like one minute left

it's very true and it's part of why i just stopped playing this game altogether. it's not fun when people are constantly trying to ruin it for everyone else. also the Developers don't seem to care at all and every time there is an update it does not address the issues occurring or offer any way to avoid playing with these people. Sad.
Ignorance is truly bliss, if you think this is bad, you should try some of the games ive been through. Imagine being top damage, heals, dmg recieved, points scored as a blissey while your team votes to surrender, then they eventually do at the last 15 seconds of the game..and you were winning by 30 points. I feel your pain but trust me, this is not the worst game you can have :(
it's not really a competition of who had the worst game. anyway i uninstalled this game because i did have way worse games than this.
They don't quit for fun, they quit because they think all of their teammates are throwing the game.

Bro ngl I feel like this game is just unbalanced asf they need to fix the damage system and everything cause I feel like mobile has more lag spikes than console when I use a move that I wanna use it doesn’t even go off and I feel like they make some Pokémon just over powered than others which is bad cause I shouldn’t be seeing the same Pokémon every single ranked match😂
i finally came back to playing and the game is decent. every match is like a copy of the one before it though. no variation really. they need to figure out how to make matches more fun and when there are toxic players throwing the match or quitting the game should account for it in some way like turning them into an NPC that actually plays well. too many toxic people quitting and being rude still.
I hate solo but I don't have a choice I only can do solo cuz my friends don't play pokemon unite
I chose to quit playing because any game that makes me rage isn't worth playing. The devs need to do a better job of making the game fair and getting toxic players out of matches. I'd rather have an npc than someone actively sabatoging me. I quit in January and haven't gone back I just play good pokemon games that dont cost money instead.

Yeahh... that kind of thing happens w/ me every time with my fvcking teammates. So, in order to not to be get underfed, I steal their buff bcz for me, if i don't do that, either, i'll get bullied by my teammates and enemies too.

@@goldies8207 The issue is that Pokemon Unite is Pay2Win. If you have the cash, you can purchase the items for your proper builds and bypass the time sink "free2Play" gamers need to do. The people who spent money early on would go on to rank faster than those who did not. What we're seeing now are the fruits of this issue. Strange how a game where tons of people are able to reach the top rank, but still play terribly, right? Many of these people just had a leg up on others and that made them decent enough to be carried to high ranks early on. I've witnessed it with a few people in my gaming group.
Well it’s really annoying to have people feeding all the time. And you did feed a lot bro. You can’t just see that the other team has higher lvl than you and you are also going alone in many of them? If they stun you or target you you’re done . Not to say you are playing really bad but yeah you fed the other team much. And well I hate people pushing to score while their Pokémon are still weak! Just have patience.
The game works better when the team sticks together. The fact that I'm alone trying to score and play the game just shows how bad my team mates were playing. I don't think anybody can watch this video and say I had a perfectly good team that played well and backed me up. Everyone makes mistakes but there's no call for someone to behave how they did. Your comment is basically saying I didnt play a perfect game so they're justified in throwing a temper tantrum and ruining the game for the other 3 players. Sorry bro that makes no sense.

First of all, this game is made by Tencent (yes that money-grabbing company). I've just uninstalled the game after I got a 8 loss in a row on master rank and that's probably the best I can do. This game is just garbage. It won't last long, trust me.
